Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I take pictures inside a car of people and sometimes the pic come in good and sometime not what is the best setting iso

Hi there, and thanks for coming to FixYa.
\015\012The ISO setting determines how sensitive your camera's image sensor is to light.
\015\012General rule of thumb...the lighter your surroundings are - the lower your ISO. So, depending on how bright the light is outside your car when you take the picture, use this:
\015\012If it's overcast 600 to 800 ISO.
\015\012If it's really sunny then us 200 to 400 ISO
\015\012If it's dark out then only use 1600 ISO
\015\012You should experiment with these ISO settings, you may have to notch it up or down depending on the light outside.

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.

I have a Nikon D80 camera that is about 1 year old. I has worked fine until about 6 months ago. Sometimes when I turn it on and press the button to take the picture nothing happens.
