You should still be able to see the aperture through the regular viewfinder. When you say 'blue', you mean the whole thing is just blue? No writing? If that is the case, try a fully charged battery, full reset and if no change, I hope it's still unde ... Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens

Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,

If you set your meter based on the white (or substantially white) wall, as per the attachment, I would expect the image to be underexposed. ... Canon EOS-1D Mark II Digital Camera

I am trying to set the camera so I can get pics of the moon but all I get is a white blob (I got a great pic from the point and shoot) I am being told to set the iso and the focus to infinity and the aperture to f16. I have fogotten my manual and I am away on hols so a step by step would be fantastic. also is there a way of keeping the settings stored so I dont have to remember them! Thanks in advance

Have the Nikon D90 camera and it does not allow me to take pictures when ever I want. It is in full auto mode and just does not want to take the picture even in bright day light. The F keeps on blinking in full auto mode and even if I switch to manual mode it does not allow me to change settings. It is very frustrating! what is wrong with this D90??

The blinking F-- means that the camera doesn't think a lens is attached. You can try removing the lens and re-attaching it. Or if you have another lens, try that. There are quite a few reports of this issue with the 18-135 kit lens. ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens

I have copied and pasted someone elses problem, because it is the same one I am having. I know this means that the aperture is not locked at the 22 but it will not allow me to change the aperture settings. Please help us!!!"

I have a Nikon D40 which is coming upto being two years old. Recently I have noticed that the auto-focus will not work. If I manually focus I can still take photos but when auto is engaged it will not even try to focus and therefore will not allow me to take a photo. I don't know how to change the iso setting for a sports action photo. Please describe in detail. I have no manual.

For sports action, if you want to freeze the action with minimal blur, set the ISO to a higher number such as 400, or 800. A faster "film speed" will allow the camera to have a quicker shutter speed.\015\012If you want to blur the subject to denote m ... Digital Cameras

I just bought a nikon d5000 and when i turn the settings to manual all of my photos are black. Do i need to change something else or could there be something wrong with my camera?

I have a nikon d200. The last time I used it (only a few days ago) it was fine, everything normal. Then yesterday I pull out out of the case and everything seems to be going wrong. It is metering INSANELY low, like a shutter speed of 100 in full daylight produces a REALLY dark image. It won't auto focus at all, and i am unable to change the fstop in manual or aperture priority modes. I tried to restore it to factory settings and the lcd screen flashed to indicate it had been restored but no luck
