Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Hi, when looking at a shot you are able to zoom in and navigate left, right, up and down. Can you then freeze the shot and save it that way ?

Answers :

Most cameras are not able to crop pictures. You can do this after moving the files and using a program, like windows photo gallery.
Most cameras will not have that feature built into them. The editing and display software that came with your camera will let you make those changes. You should check the manufacturers website to download the most recent version of that software.

I own a Canon Powershot A95. Some shots show up with a red/pink tinge from the middle to the right side. Half way from the middle to the edge of left of the shot, the picture has the normal full colour presentation. My local camera shop technician told it could be the camera's electronic sensor playing up. Thanks, Mark.

HiSounds like your CCD is defective, but it's hard to say without seeing the camera in person. There was a large CCD recall, and your A95 was on the recall list. I believe the recall is now over, but it won't hurt to call Canon and see if ... Digital Cameras

My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 stopped working. I press the power button and nothing happens. I tried changing batteries, but it shows no sign of life. It was left in the trunk of my car overnight, inside a luggage bag. The temperature was close to freezing, so maybe the cold weather had something to do with the problem. I left it in my closet for about a week, and when I tried to use it, the power would not turn on. Thanks for your time.

I have a new (Dec., 2009) D90. This morning I discovered that I had an "Err" message and a "CHA" message. Both were on the LCD panel on the top of the camera. I was not able to turn the camera off, and the only way to turn it off was to take out the battery. Upon reinserting the battery, everything appeared normal, but after taking one shot the problem reappeared. The interesting thing was that I took the camera body to a Nikon certified shop in New York, and they tried it with a different lens,

The Nikon user manual says on Page 256 that the ERR message indicates a camera malfunction and to clear it, you must release the shutter. \012\012 I have found on my D-90 that I can usually release the shutter by turning the camera off and ba ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 Problem: Camera is not saving photos Hi, my camera started responding very slugglishly yesterday. I took a few pictures, and some of them wouldn't save. Focus problems I have 2 digital cameras already so I know to hold the button down 1/2 way for focusing. The Nikon is new. I HATE manuals. I am having trouble focusing on close up shots. They are either real blurry or slightly out of focus. It seems the shutter speed is so slow that any movement of my hand ruins the shot. I can take a shot of something, a plant for instance, pulled in fairly close. One shot may be ok and the next one is blurry

There are two likely reasons for the blurry pictures. One possibility is, as you surmised, a slow shutter speed. Try mounting the camera on a tripod or other stable support. You might also try turning on the flash. The other reason is focu ... Digital Cameras
