"lens error" when i turn the camera on to shoot photos, the display says "lens error".   It sounds as if the lens mechanism is trying to open, but it doesn't move.   Lights keep flashing.  I am able to view pictures I have already taken, but not able to take pictures. Canon rebel xt eos shows ERR CF. What do I do now?I tried a new flash card but still got the same error message. When I try to preview pictures I have already taken the screen says ¨no image¨. My camera worked for a couple of pictures at one point following this initial error message and then acted up again, showing err 02. It then quickly reverted back to old error CF message.

Check that the pins in the camera that connect to the CF card are clean and not bent. You will probably need a good light and a magnifying glass to see into the card slot. If you can see a pin that is bent you could try straigtening it. BEWARE- turn ... Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

Lens Error I purchased a Nikon P90 a month ago; and it was working just fine. A couple of days ago during a photo shoot (after taking 190+ photos without any trouble), the camera went crazy.. It shows a lens error when turned on; asks to 'remove the lens cap' even if it is already removed. The lens starts to zoom out & in for a couple of times; then this error message comes up and just hangs. Tried removing the card, battery and even tried re-charging the cell. I purchased it from UK, and I'm n

Hello, my Nikon D-90 is stuck with the r-33 error message with the f-stop flashing. This happened after I emptied the memory card onto my laptop from a card reader. When I reinserted it the camera froze. I tried a friend's card ( he has a Nikon too ) and his card didn't work on my camera either so that eliminates the card I think. Any ideas? I have tried prising open the flash, and it still doesn't fire even when open. There was no indication of a problem previ
