Hi, I need your precious help. i just bought a Canon 1000D and I don't see on my LCD screen what I want to catch as picture. How to proceed please? Actually, I need to see in the viewfinder eyepiece, take the picture and then come back on the playback button to see the shot that I have taken. Can't i see directly from the LCD screen while shooting? Thanks very much. Kind regards Frederic

Canon SD750 The camera tells me there are "No Images". Yet, it also tells me that "The Memory Card" is full. I shot video just to see it, brand new camera using the 32mb card, and now, nothing. Can't shoot stills, anything, because it's full in its mind. I found the erase option. It's grayed out, meaning it's not at option because there's nothing to erase according to the camera. Any ideas. Is the stock card **** and this is Canon's way to upgrade?

Hi, I got a new ProSpec 4gb flash card and used it last night in my canon 40d. I forgot to format before I initially used it. Shot lots of great images that I could see on the camera back, but now I am getting the messages - can not create a folder, tried to shoot another image and is says cf card is full, and now I can't review on camera, it says there are no images. Tried Digital Photo recovery software and got nothing. Anything at all I can do? I'm tempted to format now and then see if I can

I do not have a solution, but I do have same problem, or a variation of it: filled my ProSpec 2GB, removed it from my Canon G10 to insert a fresh card, then later reinserted the ProSpec to transfer photos to computer. Several tries, and no go. First ... Canon Digital Cameras

Canon 5d I have a Canon 5D and a 430EX flash. When shooting pictures my flash will delay way to long before I can shoot another picture with flash. One picture is good and 3 are dark. My flash card is a CompactFlash 4GB Hi-speed 40 so I dont understand why it take so long for the flash to go off between shots. I have a Canon EOS 50D Digital Camera and use 3 different Canon Lenses. I am getting "Error 30". I have taken the internal battery out and re-installed the firmware. At times I can shoot quite a number of shots before getting the error. But, once I start getting the error, it comes about every 4 or 5 shots. I believe this is very similar to the "Error 99" in the Canon 30D, which I also have. The 30D has been sent to Canon for repair and worked for a while and now it gets the Error 99 every coupl

Just purchased a canon A590. on page 84 of user guide, continuous shooting is described. I'm somewhat familiar with SD cards, but Canon implies that I have to use their MSH type SD card to use the continuous shooting feature. When I look at the drive modes in my camera, I only see 4 possible modes....single pic, 10 sec delay, 2 second delay, and delay continuous. There is an icon for continuous shooting in the book, but it does not appear on my camera. Why?

I don't own an A590 but I've been handling cameras since the Kodak Instamatic days, so I'll try to help you. I checked out the Canon website for the A590. and they don't specifically state the MSH type SD card. The camera can do 1.4 fps or frames p ... Canon Digital Cameras

"busy" Error Yet another Canon 20D question. I have been shooting both film and digital at weddings for the last two weeks. I have been very impressed with the 20D (I shot Nikon for 22 years). However, I have had my share of camera errors on the 20D. Lately, it shuts down in the middle of shooting and the LCD panel reads "busy." The busy error does not go away when turning off the camera. At first I assumed that the buffer was maxed, but I'm only shooting in single shot mode. Eventually, after m

I just bought a refurbished canon A590 digital 8.0 meg, 4x optical zoom, LCD display screen camera via eBay. after only shooting 40 shots, some of them using flash (like 3 or 4 shots out of 40), i found the camera showed battery used up sign. then, it refused to shoot any more. i checked the voltage of the batteries with my old VOM. the batteries were not used up. the meter read they still had 1.35 out of 1.5 volts. i'm just disappointed that the camera can't use up the rest of the

Using my Canon XSi/450D, I'm interested in doing High Dynamic Range photography. But I can't discover how to make the automated shutter-speed range multi-shot (3 for the 450D) AEB work. I've gone into the menu and select and change the AEB range ( -2V) and pressed "set." Working from the "AV" in creative mode, I then set up my first shot with focus and ISO, and shoot. Now what? Recnetly while doing a photo shoot, the camera which is a Canon Rebel XP suddenly began to take shots that showed only the very top of the shot with the remaining showing all black. I recently bought a Canon powershot SX200is and I was using it to photograph my 4 year old grandson's birthday party, however a lot of the shots were blurred, these were mainly taken indoor, when I checked the camera settings I found the speed settings were ranging from 1/60sec to 1/6sec.
