What do I set my camera on to take great shots of a reunion and what do I set it on so there is not such a time delay between shots...it seems it takes too long for my camera to get ready for the next shot and I am missing out. I have a Canon power shot A720IS

Why it takes long between the shots is because of the size of the file to be saved. So, to take pics faster reduce the size by reducing the resolution. Which you dont want as you want great pics. Choice is yours. ... Digital Cameras

I was at a game shooting pictures with my Canon rebel EOS xsi a friend picked up the camera... started shooting pictures and when he handed the camera back the autofocus wasn't working and the shutter would only occasionally close. How do I get back to the original manufacturers settings... I think he may have played with the buttons when he was trying to get the shot... so th setting may be off... I'd like go back to the original setting and try it from there

I think I'm going to explode if I hear one more "worn out battery" explanation for what seems to be a pretty common complaint. This is my 3rd camera...all ending up with the same problem. I've had the Canon Power Shot A570 for less than a year. Someone suggested changing the settings...but even with brand spanking new batteries, I can't even get it to last long enough to get into the settings. There is clearly a problem here that has NOTHING to do with the blasted batteries.

Sounds like you have a faulty board in the camera or it could be something as simple as a software upgrade, I know some of the Fuji Hine Pix had the same problem and it was the software. Take it back to the Canon. ... Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera

First of all, don't use the flash...it's only good for a short distance. Obviously, you need a fast shutter speed to stop the action. To get this to happen while in auto mode, you will need to set the ISO to a higher number such as 800 or 1600. You w ... Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS / 1000D IS Digital Camera

Hi all, I wonder if you can supply some advice regarding a Sigma17-35mm lens I purchased earlier in the year. Basically if I use the automatic or 'P' setting on my Canon EOS 30D camera the image is over exposed by 1 to 2 stops. If I use the same functions with my Canon 18 -55 kit lens the exposure is correct so I would presume the camera is not causing the problem. The only way I can get a correct exposure with the Sigma lens is to compensate manually for each shot. Please note the exposure p

Try your EOS in AV (aprature value) mode. You should be able to adjust your aperature value in 1/3 or 1/2 steps dependind how you have your Custom Functions set in your camera's menu. Possibly the lens you purchased is for an EOS 35mm. If you use a 3 ... Sigma Digital Cameras

I'm using a Canon PowerShot A570IS, and am getting only 20 to 30 photos from fully charged Sanyo AA HR6 2000mAh batteries. I'm using the Sanyo Ni-MH quick charger that was sold along with the batteries. What do I need to do to get back to the 200 shots per battery set that was common when the camera was new -- about 3 years ago. Thank you for any pointers.

I have a Canon EOS 50D Digital Camera and use 3 different Canon Lenses. I am getting "Error 30". I have taken the internal battery out and re-installed the firmware. At times I can shoot quite a number of shots before getting the error. But, once I start getting the error, it comes about every 4 or 5 shots. I believe this is very similar to the "Error 99" in the Canon 30D, which I also have. The 30D has been sent to Canon for repair and worked for a while and now it gets the Error 99 every coupl
