Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I take photos with the color pix s210 outside with natural light and the photos come out good, but when I am inside using artificial light the photos come out fuzzy. Is there a setting I can use to correct this issue?

Answers :

In darker settings your chip will imitate a slower film speed.  The aperture will remain open longer (than it would in bright light) to allow enough light in to the light sensitive chip.  Small movements of your subjects would show as fuzziness.  If you change your setting to sports or action setting the speed will be faster and there will be no blurring.  Then you will have a light issue so use a flash.

More likely you don't have enough light for clear photos. There's not too much you can do about this, since you probably can't add more light to the stadium or arena and the action is too far away for your flash.Since the low light is goi ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ35.. I adore this camera, it is light, takes great photos and easy to learn. However, awhile back I encountered a problem with the setting's dial. It is not lining up correctly and now does not set to certain modes, or it skips one. This is particularly the case with the Scene setting and the close up setting. The camera is still under warrenty since I have not even had it 8 months. I was wondering if this is something that a camera repair place could adjust simply. I

I'm not getting crisp, in-focus photos from my EV500 (they appear somewhat fuzzy). In a studio environment with 5500K softbox lighting, using a tripod and AF on a portrait subject, with ISO 125 in Manual and Portrait exposure. I also shot the same subject with a Cannon G10 and same settings. My Cannon photos were tack sharp, but my Olympus photos were not. Also, the Cannon colors were more realistic than the Olympus. The colors on the Canon appeared as they should using the daylight (5500K

My sd700 is auto-metering light incorrectly and the pictures come out too dark. Sometimes simply re-framing/re-focusing the shot will make it work correctly, but not usually. Is it broken? Have I set something incorrectly? Is there a way to re-set the camera back to all its original default settings?

When taking photos at a basketball game and with my setting on the sports setting my pictures are coming out blurry and out of focus. How might I correct this?

Does the background look blurry? I suspect what you are getting is called motion blur. You need a faster shutter speed, which is either possible by having more light in the room or a faster lens. If you want to try to get the best shot (w ... Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. If there is light from a window then the indoor photos are over exposed as well, often with horizontal lines and/or blurry pictures. It seems that the shutter is open too long, but I don't know why. I have a one year-old Canon Rebel XTi. Overall, the picture quality is consistent with the 10.2 megapixel capability. But, using the automatic setting, virtually ALL of my pictures are so dark (even with a flash) that they require added contrast and fill-light when reviewing them. I've talked to other owners of the same camera and they DO NOT have the same problem. Do you think there is a correctable problem to address? I have a Nikon D300. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong, I assume it's a setting issue. In low light situations even with the flash I can't seem to stop action or even properly light things. I have had any kind of issue like this on a camera before. In situations where I should be able to handhold I am using a monopod. I know there is enough light to not have to handhold, I mean I am using the flash. Frankly even with available light this should not be an issue.

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?

Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera

You mention everything except the shutter speed. When the aperture shows "Lo" it's saying that there isn't enough light at your selected shutters peed to produce a good exposure. That's why you have dark photos. You may need to bump the ISO up hi ... Nikon D300 Body Only Digital Camera
