On a Canon digital camera you can set the image size off of the printer's menu button. If you still have ehte manual the process is written down for you.

Have Panasonic DMC-FX8 set for .3M picture size to download to Ebay; however the photo properties are 640x480 but 16 Million

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. If there is light from a window then the indoor photos are over exposed as well, often with horizontal lines and/or blurry pictures. It seems that the shutter is open too long, but I don't know why. The ISO settings and the Exposure Compensation are set normally. I have 2 of these cameras, one works fine (but has a black fleck in the

Most digital SLR cameras take pictures with an aspect ratio of 2 to 3. (This is based on the size of 35 mm film, where the images were 24 x 36 mm, a 2 to 3 ratio.) That is a different ratio than 8 x 10 inches, which is 4 to 5. There is no way to chan ... Canon EOS-20D Digital Camera

The top (monochrome) LCD on our Nikon D80 recently broke. I think that it is actually called the "Control Panel," and displays settings, battery life, number of pictures remaining, etc. Please note that this is not the 2.5" color LCD on the rear of the camera. I know that it is merely the LCD because the backlight works, as does portions of the LCD display itself. Does anyone know of a guide or video to perform this repair? Also, does anyone know the part number? I plan to call Nikon tomor

Color Managment Hi Does anyone know if you can set up a Colour Management for the E-20? Eg can I set so that the photo will be sRGB when written to the card? Or is just a case of converting it when it goes into Photo Shop?

If you shoot on jpg, it's already sRGB. I don't know why you would choose to convert something to sRGB though unless you like sabotaging your images. Adobe 1998 has a wider color gamut. ... Olympus Camedia E-20N Digital Camera

I have strange digital image file size problems. For example, if I upload a 6 mb file to my photo sharing website (Google Picasa) at the highest resolution, it will indicate that it is only 1.8 mb. After downloading the same file from the website, it indicates that it is 1.8 mb, however, the dpi and size of the image in inches, in Corel Photopaint, multiplies out to be the same as the original (96 dpi x 38.67 in vs. 72 dpi x 29 in), and when I resave the jpg with Photopaint, the file size incr

Blurry photos I get one crisp clear photo out of about 15. I don't know the reason. I have sent it in twice and they repair it (ya right) and I get the same thing. The only thing I can figure out is that on the lense ring if I make sure it is pointed toward the pine trees (lanscape I assume) that it will take a decent photo. Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Why does the FinePix E510 pictures download from the camera at 72 dpi when the camera was set to take 500 megapixel photos? I cannot find any way to adjust this in the finepix manual or in online help. I was helping someone download pics from his new camera and tried both Adobe Photoshop album starter and the finepix software. But when i open a photo in Photoshop, it says the photo size is 72 DPI. (My nikon doesn't do this when downloaded.)

A couple of things - I don't think you mean 500 megapixels (that is a lot!) but I assume you mean you expected a high resolution image. You may have it! The dpi setting is largely irrelevant (for photographers) as it simply relates number of pixels ... Fuji Finepix S5800 Digital Camera

Long Photo-Taking Hello, I have an S400 with a pretty fast memory card... It seems like its taking a longer time to take a photo than it used to? I'm prety sure it hasnt always been this slow.. I got a new battery etc.. Thanks!

Most cameras take a little longer to capture the photo in darker conditions, with a moving subject, things like that, though if the photos you're taking now are under the same conditions as the ones you used to that shouldn't be the issue. Automatic shoot? I need to know how to get my camera to "take pictures" on its own for a posed family photo. I know I should be able to set it up so that there are a few seconds before the picture takes, (so that I can get into the picture,) but I do not have my owner's manual and cant figure it out.
