\015 I have a canon powershot S3 IS the black part of the memory cover came off. The metal spring is still attached. I ordred a replacement part but am not sure how to take off the spring so I can attach the new piece.\015

My Cannon Power shot SX120 is less than a year old, I havent dropped or otherwise abused it. One moment the camera was fine, the next moment it has really bad horizontal lines in the pictures. The closer you zoom the worse the lines are. The lines cover the entire picture from top to bottom. Hi. Last time I went to used my camera the screen showed a message saying the memory card was damaged. When I tok it out I saw that it was slightly damaged on the bottom strip.
