Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Do they make a devise where I can plug in a SD card out of my digital camera into it and hook up up to my LCD TV to view the pictures that's on the SD card. I know I can hook the camera up to the TV, But do they make a card reader that will hook up like to the A/V jacks or something else of my TV? Thanks...

Answers :

Unless you have a newer TV with the built in slots already attached, chances are no you cannot. The camera in this case acts as a processor that is able to give the display output to the monitor (TV) and you can view it that way. All the TV is is a monitor. It has no processor to read the card, hence you need an external source to have a display. They do have TV's with them already built in but unless you know you have it, you can't.

I took my memory card out of my camera, erased what was on it, add new pictures from my computer,to it,then put the memory card back in to the camera, and hooked the camera up to my television so I could view the pictures. But the card keeps saying "no image" when I start to view. But when I check the memory card on the computer,it's showing that all the pictures are on there. Not sure what to do. I know the memory card works, because I took a picture and it showed up on the television.

I have a Nikon D70 camera. I'm using a Lexar 2GB card inside. Problem focuses on the card. Previous to this moment, card has worked fine. Today, shot photos and when I hooked up the camera to download the pics, got an error in the viewfinder (CHR). Looked at the manual, and it said problem was with the card. I removed the card, and placed it in a card reader. It worked fine and I was able to transfer the photos. Replaced the card, and still get the same error. I've already re-formatted the card,

First, memory cards don't last forever, so it may be time for a new card. Make sure you check the pins in your camera and the contacts in your card for dust/dirt. I'd guess you already looked at this, though. \015\012\015\012I've had s ... Nikon D70 Body Only Digital Camera

I have a Kodak easyshare m320 which I recieved today. I bought an SD card to go with it because the internal memory is really small. Near the card port, it says it accepts SD cards, and it also says this on the manual, but the card I bought for it is not being read by the camera. I can put the card in my computer and it works fine, though, so I don't know what the problem is. Do I need to do something to my camera in order to make it use the card rather than internal memory?

First, with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert the card and do the "format" thing again to optimize the card for the camera. Now, it should work pro ... Kodak EasyShare CX7430 Digital Camera
