The screen of my M1 and photos taken have all darkened. It only lights up in a pink tint ever so slightly when facing light areas. This has happened overnight. When I upload them on the computer they are still really dark photos. I don't think it is a problem with the screeen. But a problem within the camera. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Battery problem This morning I turned on my brand new Nikon Coolpix 5400 and got nothing on the screen. pushed some buttons and still nothing. Went to turn it off and it won't. The lens stays extended and the power light is still on. I don't know if maybe the batteries are so low they can't do anything, but I was under the impression that the camera had an indicator for the batteries really needing to be recharged. The low battery light was on last night, but I haven't seen need to be recharged

Some of these cameras go from "low" to "no" very quickly. The electronics are more sensitive to available voltage than the mechanicals and it doesn't take full voltage to keep an led lit or to retract the lens. But the cpu shuts down. I would have ex ... Nikon Coolpix 5400 Digital Camera

Moire patterns A few months ago I decided to 'wet my toe' with digital photography and I bought very cheap Mustek GSmart Mini 2 digicam. As you might expect with a $60 camera the image quality is a bit limited due to the fixed focus lens, low resolution (1.3MP) and poor low light performance. Anyway, now that I can see the advantages of digital photography I'm planning on buying a decent camera e.g. Canon S230 to overcome the problems of the Mustek. One problem that the mustek has

The moire pattern is most likely due to poor lens resolution and a resolution that conflicts with the close pattern of the house design. By lowering the resolution. you are making the receptors "bigger" so they dont pick up the smallest details. if ... Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H1 Digital Camera

Light Meter When I am in manual mode, my light meter seems to be off, especially when I am in the sun. When I adjust the settings to even out the meter, my pictures always come out over exposed. I have to compensate by making them "under exposed" so that they come out normal. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

When shooting indoors with my 300d (base rebel digital),I have been encountering some light metering problems.I use the 430ex as an external flash. While shooting a subject in front of an external light source-(window, etc.), no matter how small of the frame area include the outside light source, the cameras light meter will invaribly expose the entire image based on the outside ambient light, causing the image to be grossly underexposed. Do you have an explanation/solution for this aggrivating

Focus There is one problem that I have with this camera - Auto Focus in low lighting and it has really limited manual focus. Outdoors this camera is outstanding, I haven't found any pitfalls outdoors yet. 10x optical zoom plus 2.5" LCD WOW. Focus problems Hello, I just got the new A95 after enjoying the A80 for a few months. I'm experiencing two major problems, occurring especially when shooting in low-light conditions: a. The image displayed on the LCD screen is very dark, while in the A80 it would automatically become lighter after pressing half way. b. The auto focus won't work lower indicator blinks yellow). I have experienced these problems so intensely with my A80. What might be the problem?

Low Battery When turning the camera on, the screen often says "Low Battery", even if the batteries are brand new. The problems seems to last a few hours, then it turns on as normal. I have tried cleaning the contacts and the battery tubes, but nothing obvious seems to cause it, or solve it. Sometimes, it cuts out to "Low Battery" in the middle of taking photos, when the charge indicator on the screen has just been at full. Hi, I bought the Fujifilm Finepix S2500HD a week back. I have noticed a strange problem with the LCD screen or is it the sensor? In low light situations when you turn the camera on, the screen is not clear and there are disturbances in the form of blue dots across the LCD which appear like a screen refreshing phenomena. Battery Problem I was given an SD9 last month and so far like it except for some battery issues. Using fresh AA's it will often give me the 'low battery' warning as soon as they are loaded. I bought the CRV3's thinking that would solve it, it did initially, but after about 40 shots I took them out, tried some new AA's and again the low battery warning... replaced them with the CRV3's again, low battery (surely they were not run out after 40 shots?!) Focusing Problems I just bought the Canon 20d. I shot a wedding with it two weeks ago, and really liked how it performed in low light. However, I noticed a lot of my photos from the low lit reception came back out of focus. (The outdoor ceremony shots were fine). I noticed 3 issues with the images: 1-The main subject, which often was dead center and took up 1/2 to 2/3 of the frame, was often NOT in focus. White balance I have an ongoing problem with all my images having a stronge red / yellow color cast to them. It does not matter if I'm in the daylight or shooting under flouresent lights. When I use my flash the area directly in front of the flash is usually ok, but where the flash falls off, the immediate area has that color cast to it.
