Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I find that even in a reasonably well lit room my camera struggles to pick up a clear image and always appears to be a lot darker than in real life. I would assume that on automatic setting this shouldn't be the case. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Answers :

Try bigger ISO-setting (in a well lit room 400-600 and darker even 1600). Also try to fix the exposure according to the darker parts of the room.

Samsung s500 I just bought this camera about 8 months ago, but it has never seemed to work right. It goes thru batteries like crazy. It will only take about 3 pics for every new set of batteries I put in it. I think I have spent more in batteries now han I originally did on the camera. Someone said to get rechargable batteries, this would be cost effective, however does not solve my problem of 3 pics before I would have to recharge. What can I do?

I misplaced my USB cable for a couple of days and used the card reader in my PC to transfer pictures. Around the same time I uninstalled by previous Fuji software. Focus Problem I recently bought Olympus C-750. The real problem i have with it so far is that when I point the camera towrds the subject, its focus is adjusted automatically and the subject looks very focused and clear, but when i press the shutter button, the camera re-focuses and makes the subject blurr and in the end pictures come out very blurry. Kindly help me out with that, i.e: do i need to do some setting to avoid that??? and plus i cannot find the manuual focus option in the camera.

I have the C740, which I believe works very similarly if not identically. Unless you have the camera in full time auto focus, I don't believe it actually focuses on the subject until you've pressed the shutter button half way. Until then, the subject ... Hi all, I wonder if you can supply some advice regarding a Sigma17-35mm lens I purchased earlier in the year. Basically if I use the automatic or 'P' setting on my Canon EOS 30D camera the image is over exposed by 1 to 2 stops. If I use the same functions with my Canon 18 -55 kit lens the exposure is correct so I would presume the camera is not causing the problem. The only way I can get a correct exposure with the Sigma lens is to compensate manually for each shot. Please note the exposure p

The shutter speed priority setting on my Canon 40D keeps jumping to a different speed that I haven't set. E.g - set at 200, jumps to 25 when I go to take a photo. I have spoken to Canon regarding the problem and they have suggested that I clear the user settings. This initially solved the problem for all of an hour, but the problem has now started up again. I'll probably be sending it in, as I think it might be a problem with the hardware, just thought I'd check here first. Any suggestio

I have a Moultrie D-40 with problems. It has a bad display. It also will power up, but power off almost immediately. I assume that is a main board problem. Is there a schmatic available? Can one order the parts from Moultrie? Any idea of prices? If not, is there anywhere else one can get parts? I assume someone makes the parts for them. I'm wondering if there is a part number on the circuit boards. I would think the display would be a common item. I already swapped it out so know it's bad. OR, i

AF problem Last week I took some pics that needed the flash turned off. I did that and took the pics with no problem. I turned the flash setting back to "auto" afterwards. (this may not be related to the current problem but does seem too much of a coincidence). Next time I went to use the camera, I got an AF(red dot) and a red hand on the screen. It would take one picture and then would be frozen (no zoom, no picture taking, but the screen would stay on). If I turn it back on I can then ta

I was taking pictures into bright sunlight switching between manual and automatic settings, and manual and automatic focus. First, the picutre would take, but the shutter would not open (viewfinder would remain closed) switching from manual to automatic focus fixed this issue. However now it seems that the aperture is stuck, and not enough light gets through to the viewfinder. How can I fix this?

My LCD screen on my Canon Power shot G3 is blank (just white). There are no icons; no viewing of things I wish to photograph. I called customer support they said there was no problem with the CCD image sensor on G series cameras per the Canon service letter of 10/6/05.I would have to pay about $135 plus shipping to get it fixed or trade for another camera which would cost me money also. I'm not happy with this because I assumed that Canon would fix the problem if it appeared on the G series. Ple
