Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

My 5 yr old daughter was playing with my camera ( Sony cyber-shot ) which did not have the memory card in at the time. Their were some photos taken using obviously only the internal memory, but she deleted all of the pics. Is there still a chance I will be able to retrieve these photos at all?

Answers :

The memory on an HDD or external HDD is not erased when you delete files from it it deletes entries from the FAT system only whereas the actual file remains on the HDD. On the other hand anything saved on the RAM is gone once deleted. Likewise your camera will retain the data until its delete because it does not works on the FAT system.
No, once the internal memory was deleted there is no fetching it back. There is no possiable way of restoring those.

I purchased a Sony cybershot DSC- S930 and inserted the Lexar memory stick (supposedly compatible with a sony camera) and upon turning the camera on there is an error message stating there is not internal memory (as the internal memory only has room for 2 photos). I cannot seem to be able to use the memory (8Gb) and have tried to go into Setup - Format- but there are no options to format the stick, only to erase the internal memory. Any help would be appreciated!

I know I used up all the memory and I get a message on activating the camera telling me something like 'star two the internal memory". Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

You can try updating the firmware of the camera since this is not a problem with the memory card its with the camera itself you can check Olympus web site for software update on this.Hope that helps....... ... Digital Cameras

It now says "Memory full" and there is nothing stored on the camera. Is there any way to fix this?
