Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Hello, My camera is a panasonic nv ds5. When started it gives an errorcode: F 01 and sometimes F 02. What does this mean? Weszet

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the \012probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use\012\012\012\012\012\012\012 these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly ,\012 try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the \012shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , \012and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then \012try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently \012pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may \012cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another\012 way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and \012then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to\012 not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and \012down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the \012camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your \012camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of \012your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair \012center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to \012replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest\012 you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any \012off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about\012 warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope \012the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Regards
Andrea

Dsc-w90 I just bought this camera a few weeks ago. Within the first 200 pictures that I took it started giving me this error when I turn it on that says "Turn off camera and turn back on to use." Sometimes I have to do it 4 or 5 times before it will work again. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the camera just defective?

From the start, the camera has been very heavy on batteries, both rechargaeble and non-rechargeable. I am told that this camera is known to have a fault. Is this so? As per my previous mail, when switching on I can access old photos, the shutter button does not depress, the screen goes blank and the camera switches off. I have changed batteries many times. Sometimes doing so gives me three or four more shots before it switches off again.

Hi, I own a Sony Cybershot camera, and it has been giving a few problems as of this week. The lens keep re-adjusting in and out when I turn the camera on to take pictures. It however responds just fine when in picture-view mode. There is a screen prompt that says 'Access' when the camera is turned on, as well as the message 'turn off camera and start again'. I do not think that the camera had fallen at any time, and it is just under a year old. Thanks a lot for your response, Sarah.

Blurry images I purchased about a year ago a new Panasonic DMC-TZ4. And up until this point, I was in love with this camera. However, just recently, sometimes when I turn the camera on, the screen is showing images to be out of focus and blurry. All the settings are correct. Some times it stays like this for hours.
