I receive the same "errr" message. The photo shop said it was a bad contact, they cleaned them with an eraser and made sure there was good contact. Problem was slightly better, but still exists. I have to remove the battery to clear the problem, turning it off and back on does no good. You can actually feel the lense move ever so slightly. Camera has gone back to Nikon for a repair. Very disappointed at this point with this. Camera store acknowledged that they have seen many of these.

My theory is the plastic lens mount is not strong enough to support the lens and maintain a proper connection between the camera body contacts and the lens contacts.\015\012\015\012This problem is widespread and Nikon needs to own up to t ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Help!!! i dropped my Nikong Coolpix L11 camera on the pavement. The lens got dented in, so naturally i popped it back to its normal place i turned it on and it worked for about 30 seconds and then popped but with the image that said "Lens Error". Paper jam Just bought my Canon MG2220 about 2 days ago. I copied on it with no problem, but when I tried to print from my computer, the 1/4 inch thick stack of paper that was loaded into the paper tray was "sucked back" into the copier and there is a paper jam that I can not move AT ALL. I don't know what to do.

Right now the 18-55 lens it came with is on but shutter button is stuck in down position and my flash wont pop up using the manual "up" button. When I look thru lens and push button, flashing "F" is the only thing there. Removed lens and button would move enough to "click" but would not come up. Put lens back on and nothing! Newbie in the extreme and ready to go back to my MX !!

Cameras Hello, i was just looking for some advise, im going over seas in november and really need my camera back and working. I own a Fuji S5000, mayb for like 2 years now? Just recently its gone all weird, when i turn the camera on, the screen can go all pink and green (all lines through the screen) i guess sort of like when a tv has no aerial but its black and white on a tv? I went in to kodak (without the camera) as i was strolling through the shops and just thought i would ask and they said

My L730 was knocked off the table and seems to have now jammed, when I turn it on it makes 3 loud beeps then the screen goes blank. The power light stays on but it doesn't seem to be attempting to do anything. The lens is still out. I've tried removing the battery and waiting before replacing it then turning it back on and I've also tried gently manually moving the lens but the problem persists. Very Infuriating as I recommended this camera to others, 2 of which have bought one since !! Can anyb

I have a Samsung SL202 which I purchased because it was pretty much auto setting if I wanted. I liked the dial on the back to tell me what I was shooting. I'm not camera techie. I have been trying to get clear pictures of items to list on ebay. I have had a trombone and a suit jacket. I have tried most settings, different places in the house for light, etc., but they are never clear, the colors are not right, and the picture is too bright making the object look faded. Clicking sound My camera makes a clicking sound when I move it around...like it's a zoom issue. I took one back and got another one, but it has the same issue. The people at the store said it sounded like there was a screw loose inside the camera.

Blurry pictures I have had this camera for a couple years and have taken thousands of pictures with it. I have been very happy until recently most of the pictures are blurry and look like the camera is not focusing properly. I am wondering if it is possible (if not common) for grit to get in the lens mechanism restricting the lens from moving to the fully extended position. I am considering a professional cleaning but don't know the cost/benefit when weighed against just buying a new camera.

We have just got a Wii and the kids have changed something so when we go back to the DVD it plays with the people looking green. I think they have changed the cords connecting into the TV. They say they never actually touched the DVD player. There are five cords - red, yellow, white then a green and blue. When you move the blue one it changes it all to black and white. Most are colour coded to the same colour as the plugs on the tv.
