Went into the water, about 5 feet and after that the camera wouldn't turn on. I have Stylus 1030 SW. I have had the camera for about a year. It was working fine in the water, and I would rinse it in fresh water, like they said, but this time I came out of the ocean and it turned off and stayed off. Do I need a new battery? The battery for my camera does not charge when I put it in the charger. I have had the camera and charger for about a year without any problems until now. When I put the battery in the charger, the green light stays on and does not become yellow. I know that my battery needs to be charged because when I turn on my camera, it dies. Do I need a new charger? Or is my camera or battery not working?

When I press the power button for my Olympus FE-190 to turn the camera on nothing happens. I haven't used it for a while so I initially thought that the battery might not have any charge. When I put the battery in the charger the charging light stays on for a few minutes and then goes out. I'm wondering if the battery needs replacing. I don't use the camera very often, have had it for a few years and, stupidly, have a tendancy to leave the battery in it when the camera is not in use.

Well, are your batteries in the right slots, and put in right position? Are the batteries used? Was your camera exposed to water? These might be reasons why this is happening to you. If this isn't a very good solution, I have more details, want them? ... Olympus FE-190 Digital Camera

Battery problem This morning I turned on my brand new Nikon Coolpix 5400 and got nothing on the screen. pushed some buttons and still nothing. Went to turn it off and it won't. The lens stays extended and the power light is still on. I don't know if maybe the batteries are so low they can't do anything, but I was under the impression that the camera had an indicator for the batteries really needing to be recharged. The low battery light was on last night, but I haven't seen need to be recharged

Some of these cameras go from "low" to "no" very quickly. The electronics are more sensitive to available voltage than the mechanicals and it doesn't take full voltage to keep an led lit or to retract the lens. But the cpu shuts down. I would have ex ... Nikon Coolpix 5400 Digital Camera

Frozen Camera I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ3 digital camera. The last time it worked, the screen went checkered, so i turned it off. But upon turning it off, the lens of the camera stayed out like it was taking a picture. Now it won't turn on. Blurry images I purchased about a year ago a new Panasonic DMC-TZ4. And up until this point, I was in love with this camera. However, just recently, sometimes when I turn the camera on, the screen is showing images to be out of focus and blurry. All the settings are correct. Some times it stays like this for hours. Other times, I can turn the camera off and then back on and the blurriness goes away. Twice the camera has frozen and I had to take the battery out. And some times when I turn the cam

I purchased a Sony Mavica cd250 camera in Nov 2002. I had no problems with it until about 4 years ago. I purchased a new battery, and all was fine. I purchased a Fujifilm finepix Z20fd camera from target last december. I was shooting pictures with my camera at a concert. I used the zoom feture to zoom in, and it caused a zoom error in the camera. I turned the camera off to reboot it, but the lens stayed out. This did not fix the problem, and I don't know what else to do. How do I fix this?
