Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I have copied the photographs from the 4 Gb memory card to the computer (170 picture) but now when I insert the memory card back into the camera I receive the message "No valid picture to play" and can only take a photo to built-in memory. The card and camera are new, this is my first attempt to copy pictures to the computer. I think I can reformat the card but will lose the pictures already there, will this get rid of the problem? Would welcome some advice please. Thank you Eileen Scar

Hi there Eileen,

You can reformat the memory card on the camera by going thru the settings. Since you have copied the pictures to your computer, you still have a copy of them. Some digital camera's automatically use the memory card to save in pictures the moment you insert it in the camera; in your case, the memory card might got corrupted so its wise to reformat it.

Should you need further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using FIxYa.
