Power issues. Just recently I've encountered a problem with my camera. After plugging it into my computer (And not noticing the power surge notification on the desktop while doing so). It locked up and powered itself off. I tried turning it back on, and it turned on for a split second then shut off without retracting the lense. I switched batteries and it retracted the lense, but I tried powering it on and the lense only came halfway out and it powered off. I've tried 4 fresh sets of batteries a

Switch glitch When i turn on my camera it goes off again within a few seconds (or maybe less). I have to turn it all the way off (slowly) and on again. Sometimes it stays on (at least long enough for a photo) and other times not. Has been getting worse so now the camera is pretty useless. I am presuming that the switch has had it (any other suggestions?) Interestingly while it was under warranty i had switch problems and it was replaced so this is the second switch on the camera. On/Off Switch Hi My problem with the 5050Z is as follows; When I switch the camera on the lens extends and then retracts but not always. This can carry on until I turn it off. On the odd occasion that this does not happen, should I lightly touch the on/off switch (but not move it) the lens begins to retract and extend again until I turn it off. Has anyone experienced this problem, if so, is there a solution? I've tried removing the batteries for 24 hours to force the camera to fully res

My D70 (which I just bought on ebay) is having problems with AF. At time the AF works fine but then for no reason it refuses to work for hours to days. I have two bodies so I can swap lenses to see that its not the lens. If I switch to manual focus, it the camera works fine. I can see the little pins around the lens fitting retract when I switch the camera to manual. Seems like a problem with the internals that control AF. No other problems are apparent to me. Any suggestions?

Power/lens Problems I'm having some power/lens problems with my camera. When I turn on the power in either the picture or video mode, the green light will turn on for a split second then turn off. The lens does not come out at all. However, when I try to turn it on with the picture viewer or in the menu it works just fine. When I start with the picture viewer and then switch to the camera it turns off. Thus it seems that whenever I want to take a picture or a movie the camera doesn't work.
