I have the same camera. In the menu (the spanner icon) scroll down till you find 2 reset options. One is to reset the numbers on the pictures you take, and the other will reset the camera back to original factory settings. Hope this helps you.3 ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 Digital Camera

Panasonic DMC-TZ4 When I switch on I get "Turn off camera and turn on again" message but it does not good. When I swtich off I get "workng hard" noises as if there is an effort to retract the lense but it will not retract unless I turn the camera on again. At that point the lense retracts and comes out again at once; more "hard work" noises and a new "turn your camera off" message. The only way to get the lense into the retrated position is to catych it at the right instant and remove the batter

Ref: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Camera. The cover plate over the LCD screen cracked (left side). So far, the LCD display itself is not affected. Is it possible to replace just the cover plate without having to install a new LCD unit? If so do you have a part number for the plate? I understand that cracking of the LCD screen is a recurring problem with the Lumix series of digital cameras and also that Panasonic has taken a hard line r.e. guarantee coverage. My camera is 2 months old.

Problems with DMC ZS3 taking dark photos. I have owned my panasonic DMC ZS3 for about a year and it took very good pictures. All of a sudden ever picture it takes is very dark--even the lcd darkens when it is attempting to focus. I reset all of the settings to factory defaults but no improvement. Any ideas of a fix or what is causing the dark photos?

There are (apparently) some strange "pictures" taking up enormous space on my panasonic DMC-FZ20GN. Oddly, they don't appear as images on the camera, but black screens. When I try to delete them, I get the message "some pictures cannot be deleted". I have tried a reset of the camera, but with no success. How can I get rid of them? Peter Townsend. Sydney.

I think you have these locked on your camera. And usually when you see black it is a video.  Check out the info on the file when linked to your mac.  If it,s a video format you might need to view and delete in a video player program. ... Panasonic Digital Cameras
