I put in new batteries and a 256MB CF card and went thru the setup..put in my name a passcode..set the delay blah blah blah....heres the problem..everytime i turn it on the first thing the screen says is "do not remove card" immediately..it keeps flashing this for like 3 minutes. then shows me images taken and I can change from standby to live or scroll thru the setup..but once it goes back to t

Lcd Hi. I was sure that the LCD monitor could be used instead of the viewfinder. I cannot find any information on how to activate that portion. All I can do is turn the LCD off and on and in the on position all it ever shows is the current settings. When a picture is taken it goes to the 2 second viewing and then back to the settings menu. I went through the manual and cannot find any advice.

Normaly, a reflex camera cannot use the LCD monitor as like a non reflex camera. Your camera was designed to be used like a film camera. The CCD panel at the film plane is sort of like having a film inside the camera. \015\012\015\012Ther ... Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens

My Dad, 91years old, received a Kodak Easyshare model z1285 from a friend for christmas. no manual. He lives 400 miles away and called to ask if I knew where the SD card goes. Since I can't see the camera I thought I would ask the experts. He thinks it goes on the end but the door won't open. Is there a trick to the door? Is there only a door on one end? Just to make sure I can explain it to him, please explain it to me as simply as possible since I have never seen the camera. Thanks.

The door to access the SD card slot is on end of the camera which is closest to the round knob on the top of the camera. If you turn the camera on end and look at the door, it has small groove in it that is about an inch long. Holding y ... Kodak EasyShare Z12851 Digital Camera

I have a Nikon Coolpix L110 and the pictures have a yellow tint when taken inside. I've noticed the yellow tint varies when I point the camera to different areas in the room. I've never had an issue like this with other cameras so I'm not sure what is causing this. I read the manual and there was really nothing to address this issue. Okay this may be stupid question but; Do you think raising the flash will get rid of the yellow? Thanks Marie Steel

Flash flickers... I have a Sony Cybershot, and I always have the flash on. Now whenever I take a picture the flash never goes, it flickers a little bit but not enough to get a good picture. Its on normal setting, not on burst. Do I have to replace the bulb or what do i do?

I honestly never came across anyone who had a flash replaced usually because most companys flat rate out of warranty repairs at 100-125 dollars-if it's a p series camera it sounds like the flash is dying or the battery is worn out and not supplying p ... Digital Cameras

Not focusing I'm not sure what happened, nothing seems to be obstructing and to my extent of knowledge nothing has happened to my camera. However when I turn it on the lens comes out once, goes back in, and comes out again. Then the screen is blank, shows no picture until i push the play button, or until I change what picture setting it is on. Once the screen shows picture it will not focus anything. Any help here?

I am having a problem with my camera. It works in the sense that it turns on and takes pictures. However, the both the digital lcd display and normal finder display remain black, even after removing the lens cap. I let a friend borrow it a little while ago and I suspect they may have changed some settings, but I'm not sure what to look for to fix it. When it takes pictures, they come out looking very distorted and strange. But, it does take pictures, the flash goes off and a picture records. c

I own a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. This camera is unpredictable; i.e., I never know when it will decide not to record an image. I have reset it many times to the manufacturer's default settings, and then it SOMETIMES works, but then for some reason stops recording images. I have started to always carry a second camera (a point & shoot). However I am enrolled in a number of photography classes in the new year where I need an SLR. Is this camera issue serious or something I can fix? Thanks.

I am shooting with a 10mm - 22mm lens - however that should not matter. Frequently my camera cannot find a focal point and therefore i cannot active the shutter release. All of a sudden every picture I take with the 55-200 zoom lens is blurry and slightly out of focus. Pictures with the 18-55 lens are still sharp. I have been using that 55-200 lens for years for sports shots, and have never had any problem. I get the same blurriness shooting in both the auto sports setting and in shutter priority. It is a brand new issue. Could it be the AF servos starting to go in the lens, or am I doing something stupid?

Simplest answer is that you may have accidentally flipped the focus switch (A/M) on the lens to M. This turns off autofocus for that lens (which you might need to do if autofocus just can't resolve the image). Try turning it back to A.Ano ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera

Samsung s500 I just bought this camera about 8 months ago, but it has never seemed to work right. It goes thru batteries like crazy. It will only take about 3 pics for every new set of batteries I put in it. I think I have spent more in batteries now han I originally did on the camera. Someone said to get rechargable batteries, this would be cost effective, however does not solve my problem of 3 pics before I would have to recharge. What can I do?

Color problem The same issue as the one who asked about the color problem. We bought this Olympus FE-280 Digital Camera March 2008 i think. I am using an Olympus E-500. and am trying to use the built in flash, set to one eight or to one sixty fourth of normal output, to trigger an external flash unit. The camera is set to "Vivid", manual, auto focus, and iso 100. From the "manual flash" menu I should be able to select either full, 1/4. 1/16 or 1/64 of the output.
