My nikon D5000 does not recognise the new lwns - vivitatar 650 - 1300

Answers :

This lens does not have the electronics to communicate with the camera, hence the camera does not recognize it. You must switch the camera to Manual exposure mode in order to use this lens. You control the shutter speed and ISO on the camera and the aperture by turning the aperture ring on the lens. You also will not get any metering assistance from the camera. You can use a separate light meter or another lens to get a starting point, then use the playback and its histogram to fine-tune the exposure.

I have a Nikon D40. I wish my photographs to be numbered consecutively, 0 to whatever the numbering system goes up to (9999?), even when using a new card, without going into different files or whatever. I named a file "Card 1". The photographs come out labelled "100Card1 DSC 0001" etc. Yestreday, for no apparent reason, having reached "DSC 1021", it then started back at zero and was labelled "101Card1 DSC0001". When I go into the Folders menu there is no mention of "100" or "101", just "card

Blurred pictures I started using my new Nikon Coolpix on Christmas Eve and have taken photos for about 2 weeks. More than half of the pictures are very blurry after I transferred them to my computer and enlarged them to view. My daughter also got a Canon Elph on the same day and her photo quality is much much better. I also own a Nikon D5000 and have always been very happy with the quality, thus my choice of a Nikon pocket camera. Have I made a mistake?

My Nikon Coolpix 4600 will take 1 photo, then refuses to take anymore unless it's turned off and then turned back on. When first turned on the flash and AF LEDs go on. I have a new Nikon D-60. Using Windows XP, I downloaded 255 pictures. Not having picked a folder to put them in, it by default put them all in My Pictures. I then created a folder to put them in and using the "move" command, I moved all the pictures into the new folder. My problem is now it will not let me open the folder. It says, "access denied" It also shows when you hover the mouse over the folder that the contents are 0 bytes. It will not let me delete the folder either, so I am stumped. U
