Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Hello! I have a problem with my memory card so after I cutted the folder "DCIM" in memory card to my notebook and then I insert my memory card back to the nikon camera. I could'n take any photo because it's default that "MEMORY CARD IS WRITE PROTECTED" please let's me solve this problem asap. thanks a lot.

Answers :

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.\012\012\012

If you've deleted the DCIM folder, make sure you format the card in the camera.

Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

You can try updating the firmware of the camera since this is not a problem with the memory card its with the camera itself you can check Olympus web site for software update on this.Hope that helps....... ... Digital Cameras

When I install a memory card in my camera I get the message read only memory card, remove write protection to capture or write to card. The switch on the memory card is in the correct position, this is a card that I have been using with no problems until now. I also installed a brand new memory card and got the same message. I think there's a problem internally with the camera.

File error very so often after clicking a few photographs the camera shows FILE ERROR . On the first review the camera displays the photograph there after the photos are lost. the only solution to the problem is to format the memory card after which it clicks a few photographs & then the same problem occurs. is it the problem of memory card or a problem with the camera

It could be either. There is not any way to tell, but if the problem is too bad I would replace the memory card first and then address the issue within the camera if it continues.\015\012\015\012David Millier\015\012Advance Camera Repair ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5 Digital Camera

I normally use a small 32mb memory card in the olympus D-390 but used an olympus fe-130 over the holidays with a 256mb memory card. Is the card too big for the camera? it works fine in the other to let me take photos and view them, if I had the cord for it or went to a store to print
