Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?
I have two batteries and neither will charge even though the charge light is flashing on the camera when the charger is plugged in.
When connected to the mains everything is working.
Was no problem when last used and the battery removed when stored away.
Try charging your batteries with a battery charger... In case they're not AA/AAA, try reseting your camera. Please leave a reply! :)

Batteries After charging batteries I load them into camera and nothing happens. I tried standard batteries and things work fine. I return to charged batteries and everything works fine too. Why do I get a problem using rechargeable batteries once they have been charged? The same thing as before. The charger indicates error, charging and ready for each battery. Battery life My AA 3000mah batteries don't last 30 mins before the camera switches itself off, indicating that the batteries are flat. When tested on a multimeter they read 1.24volts. The manual say I should get 300 shots using 2500mah batteries. The batteries have been discharged and charged up many times but still the same problem. I'm using Nimh type batteries that read 1.35v full charge and 1.24v when the camera shuts off. Is this a common fault with this camera ?

I've re-charged the battery several times longest period of re-cahrge was 18 hrs. When placed in camera battery power only lasts for a minute or 2, then is dead. I cannot figure out if the camera is malfunctiong-causing the sever drain or battery is kaput, not taking a charge. Need advice before spending $$$ for a new battery or sending camera back for

I have continuously had battery problems with my Nikon CoolPix L18; after shipping back to Nikon I was informed that there was not a problem. I have since purchased another L18 for my Mom thinking that it could not be a manufacturer problem - however, now we have two cameras that will not hold a battery charge for more than a few pics - literally I had less than an hour of pics on my camera. My Mom & I, are both unhappy with our cameras - any suggestions of the recommended batteries to use for t

Battery Problem I was given an SD9 last month and so far like it except for some battery issues. Using fresh AA's it will often give me the 'low battery' warning as soon as they are loaded. I bought the CRV3's thinking that would solve it, it did initially, but after about 40 shots I took them out, tried some new AA's and again the low battery warning... replaced them with the CRV3's again, low battery (surely they were not run out after 40 shots?!) Everything is fine using power cable... but

Fuji s9000 problem, it won't turn on with the ac supply at all. The last time I used my camera I put in some rechargeable batteries (new ones) while the camera had the ac adapter connected, I was just seeing if the new batteries had charge on them or not. Well, after a while I came back to my photo booth and my camera had a white screen (lcd) and so I unplugged it at that time thinking maybe it was charging the batteries or something. Well today around a week later I am not able to turn my ca

Battery Have had my Nikon for about 3 years, no problems till couple months ago. Used camera for vacation then did not use it for about a month. Battery was fully charged when put away. I haven't used this camcorder in a couple of months (bought new in January). When I went to charge it last night, neither the mains charger or USB lead will charge it. Does it just need a new battery or is it something more serious?

Slow camera Thank you for the suggestions. I got the camera about 6 years ago and it worked fine. The problem started recently, over the last few months. It cannot be related to the card, or the processor. They were the same when it worked well. It is charging up very slowly. I think it is either a capacitor or a rechargable battery that lost performance over time. Do you know anything about the inside battery?
Unfortunately, the externals you use are AA's so I'm sure you've tried new ones there. \015\012The internal battery (or capacitor) is not worth attempting to replace for a camera of that age. You may end up spending more to replace the battery ... Fuji FinePix A303 Digital Camera
I have Vivitar 3900 flash that has not been used for several years. It will not run on batteries, due to excess current drain. If connected to a 5-7 volt power supply, the drain goes over .5 amps. The main capacitor (350 ufd @ 400 volts charges to 300 volts and when the flash is turned off holds a charge. Any suggestions for repair?

A Canon A570IS will power on and and everything works with external power (3.5-3.7V, 2A. 3rd party) but is dead with batteries (two fresh alkaline or NIMH AAs). I have used parts (from junk 570s) and have replaced the main board, button board, flexicable that includes on/off switch & shutter, leds, etc.. Again, lens, flash, storage, LCD, etc. work with external power, but not with batteries. I am at a loss. Any suggestions?
Since the external power works, we need to know, first off, if the battery terminals have continuity with the external power supply contacts. That will tell us an important part of this puzzle. The one hard thing about this problem, is that what ... Canon PowerShot A570 IS Digital Camera
Battery Problems CANON A80 Battery Problems Have had a CANON A80 for nearly three years. The first two years were great. The batteries would last for ages between charges, and with a new baby we took lots of photos. Then the batteries started playing up. Fully charged batteries would only last a few days, or if left would not power up at all. Have replaced the batteries, and the chargers with no improvement. Here in NZ there is a huge wait for repairs, so if it is beyond repair I?ll just re

My camera will not charge. It was purchased just short of a year ago, so here is no reason for the battery to be broken. It will not charge at all when the memory card is inserted and when it is, the charging light links four times and then stops. I last used my camera about 2 months ago and it worked fine. The battery died during the last use and I am trying to charge it for the first time since.
Hi,\015\012It almost sounds like the battery won't hold a charge anymore which means you need a new battery. Since the camera isn't quite a year old yet I'd suggest contacting Nikon and seeing if they'll do anything for you before you buy a new batte ... Nikon Coolpix S4000 Digital Camera
Dead battery? I have been searching everywhere for help on this problem and so far, no luck! My camera will turn on but as soon as it does, it shuts itself off again. The lens is stuck in zoom mode and won't retract. I tried charging the battery but every time I try, it will only charge for about 5 minutes and then says the charge is full. Is this a problem with the battery? Charger? Or is the battery fine and it's a problem with the camera? Any suggestions?
Ugh. I have the EXACT same problem!!!!! It's extreamly annoying. When I turn my camera on it turns on, you see the polaroid screen, and theres this buzzing sound? and then it turns off. I'm so frustrated and don't know what to do. Should I take it in ... Polaroid T737 Digital Camera
I hit the power button and it turns green for a second but then goes out. The camera and LCD screen do nothing. So I have some sort of power problem. When I put the battery in the charger the charger light comes on for about a 10seconds but then goes out (suggesting that the battery is fully charged). Is this a battery problem (not charging or holding a charge) or a camera problem? I don't want to buy a new battery if the camera itself is dead... Thanks!
