Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?
I have a Canon IP4300. The image colour looks great on computer but when I print a paper print, the colour comes out exagerated so everything is over-bright and gaudy. How can I adjust the colour settings for the printer, or match the printer to the computer?
Assuming that your printer drivers have been loaded correctly to your computer it is likely that the ink cartidges are the cause of the problem. They are either dirty or low on ink (a particular colour if you have multiple cartridges). Have you tried someone else's printer perhaps?

Dark pictures I have an Exilim EX-Z40 which i download to an apple powerbook via the USB link. The pictures when printed out look rather 'grey' rather than bright. This was very obvious when the camera SD card was recently printed out direct from a photolab rather than from the computer and compared to those printed out from the computer. The former were very 'bright' with fuller colours. SHould I be doing something different when connecting camera to computer?
Perhaps the lab is at fault? if iPhoto displays the pics with the correct dark/light profile then it is likely to be right. You can alter the profile in the edit window of iPhoto but it would seem the lab messed up. ... Casio Exilim EX-Z40 Digital Camera

My panasonic has amazing imaging stabilising properties, and crystal clear images. But the flash is too bright, and washes everything out far too much, making faces and scenery white all the time. The colours arent natural more than often. They're just wishy washy. So I bought a sony, and the colours are much more natural, and flash much more reasonable, but the image quality is really not great at all, especially in low light conditions, and the image stabilising is almost useless!!!! When I transfer the original picture from my camer, (nikon color pix 5600), to my computer via nikon transfer, the photos are too big to be printed on one page. In fact, the printer will only print 1/4 of the entire picture. When I reduce the picture by a given percentage, the image on my screen gets smaller but the printer will print still just 1/4 of this (smaller) image. What gives? Help! I need to print a photo with a date/time stamp. No help on the CyberShot manual for doing this on my computer. (Typical) Can anyone tell me how to physically do this from the camera in PictBridge? Flash When I take pictures, all of the faces are completely whited out. It's like the flash is too bright but when I adjust the flash, then it's too dark. I'm sort of confused as to what to do. I would love to be able to use the flash without whiting out all the faces and bleaching out the background. I've tried adjusting the brightness and the flash but that doesn't work. Is there anything else I'm doing wrong?

Brightness I recently bought the Olympus Stylus 700 and took it on a vacation with me and it worked fine, but shortly after returning, the camera began to take extremely bright pictures, in fact if there is any natural light (not produced by the flash), there is nothing but the vague outlines of some objects.
