Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I have purchased 2 Snap Sights SS-1000 Underwater cameras and neither of them turn on. I have tried multiple sets of batteries and none of them seem to work in the camera. Is there a known problem with these cameras?

Olympus SP-550 UZ won't focus properly most of the time. Focus point should be infinity since my subjects are seascapes, sunsets and clouds. I've tried all 3 AF focus modes but none work consistently. I can get it to focus sometimes if point the camera at the ocean first. I've even tried manual focus but it won't focus to infinity. This camera is practically new, has never been dropped. Is this a known problem with this camera? Is it a settings problem (I've reset the camera to factory settings

Camera works for a very while, but quickly senses low battery and shuts down. Won't work more than a couple of pictures with 2300mAh rechargeables, maybe 10 pictures with alkaline. Seems oversensitive to lowered voltage. Is this a known problem with a cheap/free fix?

Something, it sounds like, is draining the batteries. Rechargeables are a lower voltage, and don't last as long as alkalines, but the alkalines should give you at least a couple hundred pics (depending on how much the flash and zoom is used, camer ... Olympus SP-320 Digital Camera

Hi I have a Canon PowerShot 460 Digital Camera and it works great when I want to take pictures or make movies. The problem is that when I try to connect it to my computer to retrieve the pictures on the camera, my computer says that my camera isn't detected. I don't understand why that is because the camera's software works fine. I thought it was a problem with the USB cord, but it works fine with other electronic devices. The USB doesn't seem to work with the camera. I don't get whats the iss

My D70 (which I just bought on ebay) is having problems with AF. At time the AF works fine but then for no reason it refuses to work for hours to days. I have two bodies so I can swap lenses to see that its not the lens. If I switch to manual focus, it the camera works fine. I can see the little pins around the lens fitting retract when I switch the camera to manual. Seems like a problem with the internals that control AF. No other problems are apparent to me. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a contact issue - either they are not making consistently or they are just dirty. I'd start with a good contact cleaner (Radio Shack or photo store) and spray the snot out of both the camera contacts and lense (making VERY sure to protec ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera

Hi i seem to have problem with my kodak z1485 IS, the lenson the camera doesn't seem to extend or retract as a result of which it has extended fully and is now stuck there, and the camera doesn't work at all as the display on the camera doesn't seem to be working either.

Hi, I seem to have a problem with my Finepix Z1 digital camera. When I take a shot it seems to work ok, and the initial review image seems fine as well. But when I go back and review the image on the camera, or off the memory card via my computer the image is distorted. The best way I can describe it is as if the image appears that I took a photo off something on the tv, with a series of horizontal lines running across the image. The video capture seems to work fine though. Can you offer any sug

My DSC-T700 seems to have lost its internal software (this may not be the problem, but as a novice, this is best I can describe the status of my camera). The camera only shows an image when the slider is opened. But can't do anything with the camera. The menu system has vanished completely. The buttons as well as the zoom does not work. I was anti virus scanning the camera, then deleted all the files in within its drive, via PC. The problem seemed to start from then. I've tried the basics

Yes, using the PC to delete the files and running a virus scan (totally not necessary) has caused your problem. Since the menu doesn't appear, you can try a manual reset but I doubt it will help at this point. Here's how: remove the card and battery ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 Digital Camera

Power/lens Problems I'm having some power/lens problems with my camera. When I turn on the power in either the picture or video mode, the green light will turn on for a split second then turn off. The lens does not come out at all. However, when I try to turn it on with the picture viewer or in the menu it works just fine. When I start with the picture viewer and then switch to the camera it turns off. Thus it seems that whenever I want to take a picture or a movie the camera doesn't work.

Can't see the camera from the computer. Everything works fine on the camera, but the USB connection doesn't work. It's like the usb driver chip failed.Put it on a linux machine, and can't see it from there either. I have reloaded the drivers several times. And it used to work on this computer. Other types of cameras work correctly with the same cable so it doesn't seem to be a cable problem. Does anybody fix these cameras?

I purchased my G11 end of Nov 2009, and just started to have problems this morning. When shooting, the directional buttons, control dial and func/set button won't work. Also, if I zoom in on a subject the camera automatically zooms out, in, and out again... randomly, as if it had a mind of its own. When viewing photos already taken, the same problem happens. Once it happens, none of the buttons will work. This happens about 1 minute after the camera has been switched on. Is there a way in which

My camera (Sony DSC-T100) is about 3 years old. It has worked perfectly in that time but recently, outdoor photos show a lot pink where it does not belong (sky, side walks, etc.). Indoor pictures still look great, with or without flash. Sounded similar to some of the bad CCD discussions I have seen, but my camera seems to have been built after that problem was supposedly fixed by Sony. I tried calling the number (866-703-7669) I have seen in several postings, but it does not seems to work.

I have a Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 Macro lens working on a Nokon D40X and Nikon D300. For medium to long distances the autofocus does not seem to work with this lens. I think it used to but now I notice that from about 40 feet away the autofocus does not work. The same happens with both cameras. Other lenses work fine so I don't think it is the camera. Sorry to bother and hope this is free of charge. My name is John Gong and I bought this camera from staples to record videos for my youtube channel. Apparently I chose this camera but they had none in stock but the sample. I bought the sample since it seemed to be in good condition. I was wrong, when I bought the camera and started "trying" to charge it it did not work. I realized the camera's slot for the charger to go in seems to be bit slant and a little wide. I'm pretty sure this was because

It seems to me that Nikon Point & Shoot cameras, or at least the last 2 that I have bought, have a usable life span of approx 4 or so years before the LCD's decide not to work in turn, makes the camera non usable. I have a 5700, 3.5 years old before it stopped working & a S4, which the LCD also quit working and it is 4 years old, I think my next point & shoot will be a Canon to go along with it's big brother that I bought this year, 50D Does anyone have a solution to this Nikon problem? I have a Canon EOS 40D camera. We are having problems with using an external flash. The pictures always come out extremely dark with the external flash. Screen problems My Olympus FE-4000 12 MP digital camera with 4X wide angle optical zoom was working fine until one afternoon when I went to take a picture. The camera was never dropped into water, or exposed to heavy outdoor elements. Batteries need replaced constantly. I am using 2 AA alkaline as instructed. As soon as I put them in it says batteries are low and shuts off. This is happening with all brands of new batteries.
