Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Everytime i connect the usb cable to my mac (any mac, ive tried 5) i get an immediate error message saying my usb device is drawing too much power and is being disabled. I cannot connect.... more info: the battery is fully charged when i try and do this and since there is way to connect to an external power source..i dont know what to do.
