The only thing that works is if I take the battery out and in and turn the camera on again. The second problem started yesterday. My camera would not turn on so I thought the battery was uncharged even though I got no message saying that. But after chargi

There are two indications of how the batteries are inserted into this camera. One is on the lid ( + and -) and one is within the battery hold. The ones inside the battery holder are completely opposite of what is on the lid. Which one is the right way? I ask because freshly charged batteries are NOT working no matter which way I insert them. There is NO MANUAL with this camera, which I think is a cheap way for Kodak to sell these things. Very dissapointed with this camera.

We completed the start up process and attempted to take a few test photos. we took two photos with flash and on the second photos, a loud noise was heard when the flash operated. We could never get the flash to operate again. We have read through the troubleshooting guide supplied with the camera and changed batteries and settings. No luck.
