Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

I have a nikkor-h 18cm f2.5 lens which is in great condition except that the focusing ring is stiff and takes more hand power than it should to rotate. I want to disassemble it so I can clean and re-lube the threads. So far I have removed the barrel with the tripod adapter and the threaded focusing barrel which rotates inside of it. I now need to remove the barrel that rotates the focusing barrel, the F stop barrel and presetting ring and don't know how it is done. Does anyone know how to

I have a canon rebel xsi that is not taking pictures on auto focus. It will take pictures on manual focus, but they're blurry. I changed my lens to a bigger one to see if it was the lens or camera, and it's the camera. I had the same problem with the other lens. I've tried cleaning it & turning the lens focus ring but is still doing it. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi..... Years ago I purchased a Vivitar Series 1 70-210 zoom lens with macro to fit my Konica SLRs. I also aquired a similar lense to fit my Minolta 101b. I have recently bought a Sony A100 digital SLR and would like to know if there are any converter rings available to use my old lenses on the new camera. I just love the one-stop zoom and focus operation. Any help appreciated Grayham

Hi, I've a Sigma 28-105mm aspherical 3.5-5.6 lens. Auto focus does not engage. I can hear the motor trying, but the ring does not turn. When I switch to manual focus, I can turn the ring to focus manually, but I still hear the motor trying to use autofocus. Additionally, sometimes the shutter will not fire in manual focus while the motor is still searching. I've cleaned the contacts, but no joy. I suspect a faulty switch, but that doesn't completely explain the autofocus not engaging. I am

Well, I think you have at least one problem pinpointed, in that I suspect the focusing ring is jammed, and cannot rotate with the electromagnet signals. The other problem might be a faulty auto/manual switch. Of course, check for oxidation and e ... Digital Cameras

Lens Problem I have a C-8080 and I like it but I'm not sure if it is working 100%. The lens barrel is sloppy from side to side and clunks slightly when moving it quickly. It has been that way since it was new. It has some issues with auto focus as well. It has a hard time focusing on clouds and soft objects at infinity. I called Olympus when I bought the camera and mentioned the sloppy lens barrel and they told me that that is the way there made. It is slow to focus when going from close objects

I am using Canon EOS 5D. I was taking pictures of the sunset this evening, then the mirror inside the camera dropped out inside. I guess the glue between it and the camera didn't work, so the mirror can stick to the camera. Please help me! What can I do now? I can't afford to fix it at this time, and I don't know if it's a serious problem.

Back focus My D300 looked like it was focusing behind the subject. I set up 8 objects on the lawn, each one 3 feet behind the other. I mounted my camera on a tripod, selected a shallow depth of field, and shot each object. I found that at close range, my camera focused fine. The farther away the object, the more the camera focused behind the object. I returned the camera to Nikon for repair under warrantee. They made some adjustments. The focus has definitely improved, but I don't think it is qu
