Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Hi I have a 2year old kodak easyshare zoom digital camera V1253, When I press the on button the camera attempt's to come on but very quickly switches it's self off again, I have replaced the battery and fully charged it but it is still not working, Please advise if there's anything else I can try or where it would be best to take it to be mended. Many thanks Jo

Answers :

This camera takes 2 size AA batteries, preferably the longest life batteries possible. I use re-chargeable batteries, and when they have about given up the camera does the same thing; prepares to open the lens and then switches off. I am confident that you will have success with new re-chargeable batteries, and a close attention to their charge life.

Have fun using this wonderful model for recording life events. Comment on this fix for me when you are successful...

The battery for my z33wp won't charge anymore. It has only been fully charged 3-4 times. The camera's fine because with the little bit of battery left, it still worked perfectly. I don't know if the fault is with the charger or the battery. I'm still just about covered with the 6 month warranty, but im just wondering if this is a common problem.
