My Vivitar Series 1 24-70 manual focus ais lens won't work on program in my Nikon FA. I bought both new, but have stored them for a long time. It works on aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual, just not in program. All my other lenses do, including other Vivitar lenses, so it must be the lens. Fresh batteries in the camera. I get the FEE message, which means the lens is not set on the smallest aperture, but it IS set on the smallest aperture. I have tried dismounting and remounti

Lens Problem Hello, I'm Kento from the states. I purchased the CASIO EX-Z700 series. However, I accidentally dropped the camera when the camera was on and the lens was extended. It makes a grating sound, and the monitor screen said "Lens error". Now, the camera is turned off with its lens extended. When I see the lens from the top, the lens position is more concentrated to the right, and the gaps between each lens is bigger on the left hand side of the lens. I sincerely hope this would help y

Loose lens? The camera works well and takes good pictures. However, the lens has developed considerable movement across its axis, and the sideways movement can be felt when moving the camera body from side to side. Is this looseness an indication of likely failure in the future, and should I do something about it at this stage? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I just purchased (about one month ago)a Canon 50 D with 28-135 is. Yesterday I recieved a Canon 2.8 IS L 70 -200mm. When I mount the camera to the lens ( the 70-200) I notice a little wiggle in the mount attachment. I went back and checked to see if my other canon and Sigma lenses do this on the 50 d and they do. I just seems more noticeable with the larger lens. Is this normal?

The larger lens is longer and the wiggle is the same amount of play but closer to the end of the lens it moves more due to it being longer/larger. Just insure there is no substantial movement at the actual connection or lens and body. It should lock ... Canon EOS 50D Digital Camera with 28-135mm lens

Tokina AT-X PRO 28-80mm 1:2.8 lens has recently developed a problem when mounted on my Nikon D200. The images are way too dark and my only way to obtain usable images is to bracket heavily. This lens has worked flawlessly on film Nikons and, until recently, worked flawlessly on the D200. I am now also having AF problems with the lens. When I attach any of my Nikon brand lenses - no problems. Can you help? I really love this lens.

Lens assembly The lens assembly has become loose. One of the outer rings has actually detatched from the camera body. When switching on - either the message 'lens fault' is displayed or a very blurred image is displayed in the LCD. The camera shop reckons the problem is quite common and estimates $A200 to fix ie replace lens assembly. Any similar experiences? (Of course, the camera is 3 months out of warranty).

Used Vivitar 70-200 zoom on my K200 Pentax. Nothing but aggravation since. Right now the 18-55 lens it came with is on but shutter button is stuck in down position and my flash wont pop up using the manual "up" button. I have a Nikon D90 with 18-105 mm lens. Lately, the onboard flash has not been firing even when I try to enforce it by having the flash popped up. It will only fire if I do one of the following: 1) unmount the lens from the camera body and then re-mount it back on, which the flash will fire maybe once or twice and that's it!, or 2) switch on a different lens which definitely works with the flash firing every single time. What needs to be done? I purchased this lens last December (2009). Is
