What type of batteries are you using? A lot of times in Kodak cameras, regular alkaline batteries won't work. I would suggest using lithium batteries like the energizer e2 ones. They're a little more expensive, but they should solve your problem.

Battery Problem My 18-month-old Canon A70 is giving "change the battery pack" message and turning off constantly, even though I have fully charged three different sets of new rechargeable batteries and rotate them as soon as the message comes on. I imagine this is a problem in the camera battery power circuit or something. Never happens when plugged into the co

I have had the Nikon D40 for about 4 years. It has performed wonderfully and I love it. Just recently, the battery suddenly died (in one hour it went from 3 bars to one) and after several failed attempts to charge it, the camera would not allow me to take photos due to the battery needing recharging (flashing one bar). I ordered a new Nikon battery and put it in the charger when it arrived today. It registered that it was charging and after over an hour said it was completely charged. When

Batteries This camera has been the worst digital camera I have ever used. The pic quality is fine. The ease of use is fine. The problem lies in the battery longevity. Maybe that is not even the right description. I will put in new batteries and only use my camera for a short time. The next time I go to use the camera it is not at all uncommon for it to not turn on. Even though it has new batteries and was not left on, the batteries are dead. It happens with the rechargeable as well as re

Battery failure I charge my Pentax Optio S5z battery on the charger then put it in the camera when it is fully charged (green light comes on on the charger) but the camera won't work ie. battery is dead, as i put it back in the charger and the light comes up red like it is flat again. Sometimes I just leave it in the camera and it seems to work after a few days, then may last for a day or sometimes for ages.
