Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Horizontal lines in my photos. Nothing on lense: the photo looks fine on the LCD until I look at the history. When I put them on the computer to view-the lines are still there. I have a bran new Kodak Z series easy share camera (2 weeks) has not been dropped or water damaged: all of a sudden the lines appeared (with in one photo- and maybe one minute between the two) I must have set something wrong but the web site had nothing> I took the battery out (didn't work either). A long, but unusefull

Answers :

The symptoms you are describing are indicative of failure of the camera's CCD image sensor. In other words, the camera is defective. This is something you cannot fix yourself. As the camera is only 2 weeks old, you really don't need to be contacting Kodak at this point. Instead, take it back to the retailer that you bought it from for exchange (if an online retailer, email the retailer to arrange sending it back for exchange).

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. If there is light from a window then the indoor photos are over exposed as well, often with horizontal lines and/or blurry pictures. It seems that the shutter is open too long, but I don't know why. The ISO settings and the Exposure Compensation are set normally. I have 2 of these cameras, one works fine (but has a black fleck in the

Lost Pictures I took a few pictures one night. Two days later I viewed these photos and they were on the camera. The battery was exhausted. My new C182 camera downloaded our first set of photos okay, now I cannot get it to download our second set of photos ( taken a week later). I plug in the port to computer and camera, then turn on camera, nothing happens. Replaced the batteries with new ones.

If, after the first time you downloaded, you didn't use the "safely remove hardware"' function before disconnecting the camera, you may have corrupted the connection. You can always use a card reader for downloading. They work better anyway. ... Kodak Digital Cameras

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ35.. I adore this camera, it is light, takes great photos and easy to learn. However, awhile back I encountered a problem with the setting's dial. It is not lining up correctly and now does not set to certain modes, or it skips one. This is particularly the case with the Scene setting and the close up setting. The camera is still under warrenty since I have not even had it 8 months. I was wondering if this is something that a camera repair place could adjust simply. I

When I upload photos onto my computer from my memory card, there are always two copies of each photo. One copy seems true to life and the other is slightly saturated and grainy. It's frustrating that I have to go through and delete every other photo, and it of course takes twice the amont of time to upload. Is there a setting or something that I can change on my Canon? Even when I change the batteries, when i tried to put on the camera by sliding the front lens cover, the usual display comes in the screen, stay for one or two secs. then went off. I can not take a photo, even i am not been able to see the stored photos. I replace the batteries with new set severel times but the problem remains.

I have a Fuji S1000FP and for the most part it takes great photos EXCEPT when I take pictures into the sun then my photos are either white or black and no image. I will admit I just want a point and shoot camera because I don't understand shutter speed and such. However, I have attempted to change the shutter speeds and still nothing. I have tried all the pre settings as well. (This camera claims to be one of the better outdoor cameras. ) Can anyone offer words of wisdom on this. Ruth

I only had the Minolta DiMAGE G400 for one year before it started having issues. The photos have a gold-ish tint and look like there are lines through the photo (like horizontal blinds).
