How can I print out EXIF annotations recorded by my Power shot A 640 (using either AdobeElements 3 or Corel Photo Album 6

Answers :

Images must be in their original form, as transferred directly off a PIM-enabled camera, to contain PIM or EXIF information. If the image has been opened, altered and resaved, or rotated in Windows Image Viewer, the PIM/EXIF information will be lost. You will have to go to FILE > OPEN to open it and use a different color management method.
Printing with PIM, PIM II, or EXIF from Photoshop:

Many digital cameras incorporate a technology called Print Image Matching, or PIM. PIM-enabled cameras encapsulate detailed information about the color in an image which a PIM-enabled printer can then reproduce, allowing you to print images exactly as the camera took them.

Try the following to print using the PIM or EXIF features your digital camera may incorporate:

1. Launch Photoshop. Go to FILE > IMPORT > PRINT IMAGE MATCHING II. (If this option is not visible, the PIM II plug-in is not installed. Please download and install it from the "Drivers & Downloads" page for your printer on the Epson website, restart, re-launch Photoshop, and then try again.)

2. An "Open Print Image Matching II" window will appear. Browse to the folder location that contains your digital camera images and select one. If the image contains PIM or EXIF information, a preview of it will appear in this window when you click on the file name, and the OPEN button will be visible to select. If a preview does not appear and the OPEN button is grey, the image you selected is not PIM-enabled. The plugin will not allow you to import in this case.

PLEASE NOTE: images must be in their original form, as transferred directly off a PIM-enabled camera, to contain PIM or EXIF information. If the image has been opened, altered and resaved, or rotated in Windows Image Viewer, the PIM/EXIF information will be lost. You will have to go to FILE > OPEN to open it and use a different color management method.

3. Once the PIM-enabled image is open, go to FILE > PRINT (WITH) PREVIEW. Check SHOW MORE OPTIONS. Instead of OUTPUT, use the pull-down arrow to select COLOR MANAGEMENT.
-If printing PIM or EXIF images, SOURCE SPACE will be an RGB format like "XXXXX RGB 2001", although it may also reflect the profile used by the image's source. A digital camera may show a document source space like "sRGBie2947", for example.
-The best choice for PRINT SPACE is a profile that most closely matches the printer name to paper in use and cartridge loaded, for example:

-INTENT should be set to Perceptual.
-Check SCALE TO FIT MEDIA if you are attempting a borderless print or if the image in the preview appears cropped or overly magnified.

4. Go to PAGE SETUP. Ensure your paper size and proper orientation are selected. Click PRINTER and make sure the proper printer is selected. In Windows, click PROPERTIES or PRINTING PREFERENCES to view the printer's current driver settings. Configure the following:
-select Custom mode, then click the Advanced button. Turn the printer driver's color management OFF here by selecting "No color adjustment".
-Pick the appropriate output resolution, DPI, paper type, and paper size being used.
-Even if printing black and white images, ensure color ink mode is still selected.

You are now ready to print a PIM or EXIF-enabled image.

I have just got back from holiday where I took 325pics. Earlier today I was able to see them on screen but had not yet downloaded as I was going to take to a store to print out tomorrow. I don't want to press yes and delete the pics but if I press no the only other option it takes me back to is to power off. At this time i can't take any photos either. I have a Canon Power Shot A720. Outdoor photos are beautiful. Indoor photos are always grainy/blurry...a lot of noise. I have tried the ISP feature but there are only two choices... 1. Auto or 2. Hi, I have a Canon 20D and a Sppedlite 550EX (I use for almost every shot). My problem is that 80-90% of my photos always return back from the printers too dark. I have tried up'ing my exposure both on my camera and flash, but this just overexposes parts of the photo too much. My histogram also looks relatively correct on these shots.
