Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

Hi there, I've just bought a DMC FX500 digital camera. In the movie mode when I've recorded say 30-40 secs of footage the remaining time always reverts back to 8m 27secs [using a 4GB card]. This should surely reduce and deduct the the time I have left after the video clip was recorded? Cheers any help welcom, PK

Troubleshooting. I'm currently using the EXILIM EX-Z60/Z60DX CASIO Digital Camera. I recently relocated and when I went to use my camera, I noticed the battery was almost dead. So, I took it home and put it on the charger. Usually, the red light will come on and it will charge, no problem. This time, the red light started blinking. I wasn't sure what that was so I left it on the cradle for about an hour to see if it would still charge. When I put the battery in the camera, my camera wouldn't eve

Long Photo-Taking Hello, I have an S400 with a pretty fast memory card... It seems like its taking a longer time to take a photo than it used to? I bought a new vivitar vivicam t324n digital camera. I used an SD card that I had previously used in my old vivitar vivicam3935. All the pictures have a reddish hue. When I called vivitar the 1st time they told my to reformat my sd card (they didn't tell me how and I don't know how to do this). When I called the 2nd time they told me I could only use a new sd card. Is any of this correct?

There is a function in your camera setup menu to format memory cards. It won't make any difference to the reddish hue of the pictures, but it will delete everything on the card. No, you can use any SD card, and in fact you are using the ca ... Vivitar Digital Cameras

D50 cannot use a 4gb card??? I use 1gb, 2 gb and no issues, now bought a 4gb card and get a CHA indicator on camera and will not shoot pictures. Can this camera be programed to accept a 4gb or larger card??? thanks Mark

No, the D50 will not (as you've discovered) accept an SDHC memory card (anything bigger than 2gb is SDHC). I haven't found a firmware upgrade for the D50 to rectify this issue, either. I own a D50 also, and love it, but bigger cards would be nice. ... Nikon D50 Digital Camera

I have a Nikon E5400, ver 1.3. I bought a 4GB Kingston CF card; the package said "formatted and ready to use". On inserting into camera, the message flashed that the card is not formatted. So I proceeded to format. The next message that flashes is "Out of Memory". Questions: 1) is the CF card defective? 2) is E5400 incapable of reading a 4GB CF card, should we use only CF cards <1GB? 3) Will a firmware version upgrade to v1.4 help? 4) Any other reason why this could happen?
