Nikon CoolPix S500 shows colored lines on lcd and in photos where the lights are bright. I have restored settings tried using it with no flash, soft flash, and auto flash and the problem continues. Noticed the lines on the lcd over a year ago and it has progressed to brightly lit photos also now. In some photos lighter colors also show up with the lines. ie. DARK PICTURES I just bought a Konica Minolta X1 DiMAGE digital camera. But I bought it used. It looks brand new and the seller had everything that came with it originally including the original box.So far, I have been extremely disappointed with it. ALL od the pics I have taken with it are very dark. I have tried every setting on the flash and it makes no difference. And it does it inside or outside. Could the problem be the lithium-ion battery? Overexposure I have owned my Fujifilm S5000 for about 2 1/2 years. It has worked perfectly until the last couple of months. I have always used the flash when the camera told me to. Recently, the camera has been overexposing inside pictures when I use the flash. If I don't use the flash, it underexposes the picture. Any suggestions...ideas? I have moved fairly recently and can't find my manual anywhere. Thanks, Laurie

I have a Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT and the built-in flash no longer pops up when needed. This started happening after using a Canon speedlite, but then removing it. I've tried resetting everything, and tried all modes expecting that the ones listed in the manual as using a flash would work, but they dont, it never pops up. I lifted up the flash with my fingernail manually, and then tried taking a picture where a flash was most definitely needed, but it still had a long delay, no flash, and

My Olympus SP-560UZ USED TO take good pics, and when I look at older pics taken on the rear LCD screen, THEY look fine. However, when I look at real time images on LCD screen and/or take new pics, everything appears "smeared". When I look at new photos taken on LCD screen, or even transferred to computer, it's even WORSE...just one blurry mass of swirling colours. The camera hadn't been used in a month, and just sat in a closet for that time, so WHAT could have happened to it?

I have an old Sunpak 3075G Thyrisistor circuitry Flash that I used to use over 15 years ago, I recently got interested in Digital SLR photography and went to try it out the other day but I have a problem The flash refuses to fully charge up. Even with new batteries , it just continues to emit a high pitch hum usually associated with it recharging, but the ready light will not come on at all. When I try to push the mainual flash button I get no operation so I presume its not charging itself.

I have a Canon EOS 1000D, and I've had it for almost 4 years. Recently i started having problems with both my lenses. Autofocus works but through the everything appears blurry when "focuses" and thus I can't use manual focus anymore. Used Vivitar 70-200 zoom on my K200 Pentax. Nothing but aggravation since. Right now the 18-55 lens it came with is on but shutter button is stuck in down position and my flash wont pop up using the manual "up" button. When I look thru lens and push button, flashing "F" is the only thing there. Removed lens and button would move enough to "click" but would not come up. Put lens back on and nothing! How do I clean specs of dust from an olympus OM10 camera? I have an OM10 that has not been used for many years. My Nikon D70 DSLR was fine when last used but after around three weeks when brought out to use again, the LED which signifies writing to the card is flashing - whether the power is on or off. I have a Vivitar Camera that I bought from a Pawn Shop. The Flash worked fine for the first few months having it. I didn't use it for a while, and once I finally did, I heard 3 pops. After that my flash no longer works. When I switch into Flash mode it blinks and goes back to No Flash mode. Do you think it's the flash tube, the circuit or the battery that charges the flash? I opened the camera and nothing looks blown.
