My Cannon Power shot SX120 is less than a year old, I havent dropped or otherwise abused it. One moment the camera was fine, the next moment it has really bad horizontal lines in the pictures. The closer you zoom the worse the lines are. The lines cover the entire picture from top to bottom. I have tried replacing the batteries with fresh ones, even tried a different memory card..nothing seems to help.

All of a sudden our nikon coolpix P2 digital camera is stating lens error when we turn it on. the opening/closing mechanism will work and open but then after the photo lens thing comes out, it looks around and goes back inside the camera. I've tried to dust it a little with a soft brush, and jiggle it some but to no avail. I'm afraid repairing it will cost more than a new one. This one is 4 years old. Help!

Appreciation CanadaBruce I was browsing the website since I have a Nikon D80. Considering the fact that Nikon sells this as an amateur camera (meaning not a cheap solution), I suspect their Q&A and test wings are probably getting a lot of flak internally for the problems its users experience intermittently. Besides the F-err with 18-135 lens, I have not experienced other problems yet. I hope and pray to whatever powers there be it stays that way. One way I have tried to get around this problem i

No top menu, no back menu. Did the double green button reset and the hard (hole in the bottom of the camera) resets while both on and off, with and without batteries, with and without SD card and every combination. Power problem I was trying to get the Olympus working with a DC power and the rubber protector says 6.5V. I have tried with a lab power supply and the camera just flashes ones and goes dead.
