I have put the battery the wrong way round in my canon ixus 75 & now i cannot remove the slide cover to the battery & memory card. regards richard

Answers :

On the slide cover is a rubber flap which can be removed to reveal a hole showing the bottom of the battery,if you press a ballpoint pen directly onto the battery base this lessens the pressure just enough to release the slide lock mechanism.Hey Presto your'e back into the camera.
