The lens won't come all the way out- it makes clicking noises like it wants to and kind of bounces it but doesn't come out the rest of the way. If I push the zoom button over and gently twist, it will come out all the way. Once I turn the camera off and back on it gets stuck again. (I don't know for sure the model #- I don't have it with me right now but I got it about 3 years ago.)

Negative effect. I've had my Canon Powershot S3 1S for over a year now. The other day I was taking pictures and it was working fine. I turn it off and set it down. I come back later, turn it on again and the screen shows has white lines that keep flicking over it. I turn it off and take the batteries out. Later I put the batteries back in, turn it on, and find that it is in negative effect. I'm pretty sure that my camera can't do this naturally and I've tried everything to see if I could get it

Memory Twice now the entire library of pictures we saved completely erased. We're not sure how they're erasing... we must have accidently pressed a button that deleted them but how can it be that it's so easy to erase ALL the pictures? I feel like there should atleast be a prompt that asks "delete all pictures? yes or no" like there is with text messages and emails or anything else. Is there a way to get our pictures back? Is there a back up memory??
