Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?

My Nikon D70 DSLR was fine when last used but after around three weeks when brought out to use again, the LED which signifies writing to the card is flashing - whether the power is on or off. Removing the CF card and reinserting it makes no difference. While this light is flashing the camera will not switch on or show any information in the LCD. It is about three years old and has been faultless until now. Any suggestions?

Close-up picture Hi! I purchased my camera to take up close-up pictures of handmade greeting cards. The cards are 4" x 5 1/2" with lots of little details. I'd like to show as much detail as possble. I'm not sure what the best setting are? I've tried using the flash, but the whole picture just glares out, the light bounces off of the card and makes a big glare in the center. Without the flash, the picture is too dark. Can you help me figure out the best setting to use? Or, what kind of lighting

Green light on camera back to the right of the 'delete' button continually flashes on-off about 1 second intervals as soon as battery is inserted as long as CF card is in place. Switching camera ON produces no visible operational indicators. Depressing "Menu" button flashes: hour glass; menu display; blank screen. Holding button down just cycles as above. Swapped lens, data card, battery, connected EH-5 power source; nothing makes any difference. Checked same lens in another D70 camera; it's OK.

I would start by looking into the memory card slot to see if you have a bent pin. You may need a small light and a magnifying glass to see them. If the pins are okay, then you can try a reset by holding down the BKT and metering buttons toget ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens

I have recently purchased two hidden outdoor battery operated security camera/DVR's but as I am hopeless with technology I have been unable to work out how to use them. They record onto an SD card & I am at the stage that the laptop recognises the cards but no files show up - just a blank screen. I believe there are some files on the cards because when I hook into the TV monitor something flashes very fast on the screen that I can't make out but I need someone to set up the cameras properly &

Olympus Camedia 450 Zoom digital Camera has just started to keep showing card full after a couple of shots. The cards are 64Mb and are OK as I have checked them [3] on the PC with a disk/card program. I have also formated them both in the camera and also the PC under a FAT 16 basis. The two lights [red/green] also flash sometimes so changed batteries just to make sure that was not the problem. Any suggestions other than scrapping it? Cheers Peter
