I have a JVC GR-DX25EK digital video camera which I have had for several years and never had any problems with. I used it yesterday to video my daughters wedding but when the tape ran out I couldn't remove it from the camera as it won't eject it. This has never happened before and I don't want to damage the tape. Please can someone advise me how to get the tape out of the camera? Michelle Gillingham 19.7.08

When you get errors do a complete rewind or fast forward to the end of the tape in order to pull out tape slack. Then remove battery and tape for a while. If still screwed, then yes, sharply tap (not hard!) on the closed tape door. That may repositi ... JVC Digital Cameras

How do I clean specs of dust from an olympus OM10 camera? I have an OM10 that has not been used for many years. My kid is hoping to use it in a college class she has next semester but I noticed it has specs of dust/dirt when I look through the viewfinder. How do I clean this. The price to service this camera is about 150.00 and a couple of weeks. I am not sure the camera is worth it, so I am looking to see if their is a DIY solution. Thanks

Well, you're right, not worth 150. Unless you have the plug in manual speed adapter for that camera, it's not really suitable for classroom work. The good news is that the specks you see in the viewfinder will not appear on any pictures taken with ... Digital Cameras

Since I bought my HDR-HC1E in December 2005 I enjoyed really my camera, but since a few years now I have experienced so many times a warning about 'moist condensation' then I have to 'eject tape'. This just doesn't work for a long time. It is very tedious and I only found out by accident a way to overcome this problem is by ejecting the mini DV cassette (but keep the mini DV tape in the cassette holder), switching off the camera, remove the battery. My Kodak Z1012 is camera doesn't work. I sent it to Kodak because it had a 1 year warranty. They mailed it back and said everything was fine but it still didn't work. I researched and many people said that it was the battery and that I needed to use a specific kind of Ion battery. I bought a Kodak KLIC 8000 rechargable battery and it still doesn't work. My year warranty has passed and now I am stuck with this camera that doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thank you.
