I have a Canon PowerShot A95 that has provided very good service for four years. But recently, the color and images are very distorted in some photos - faded purple in color with the image blurred or melted, sometimes icicle-like or stalactite-like in appearance. This occurs in both outdoor and indoor shots. These distortions do not occur in every shot, but have increased in frequency. This is the only problem I have ever had with this camera.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. ... Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera

I have a Canon Powershot SD550 Digital Elph IXUS 750 and last sunday I shot some photos outdoor at the equestrin center, but when I went indoors I found I didn't have a flash operating either on automatic or on manual, and I thought they had a mechanism to prevent flashes so the horses wouldn't be spooked. Later I shot some photos on automatic and they came out but when we went inside the fash was inoperative. I haven't dropped or manipipulated the camera in any fashion. i sent the camera to the

THE SPOT IS IN THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER OF ANY SHOT WHERE THERE ARE CLOUDS OR SKY. FLASH PICTURES, INTERIOR PICTURES AND THE LIKE, THERE IS NO SPOT. PLEASE HELP...RICHIE
If you have another lens, switch it and take some shots of the sky. If the spot is gone, it probably was the lens that needs cleaning/servicing. However, it's more likely that there's dirt on your CCD. On your camera's menu, select mirror lockup/cl ... Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera with 28-135mm lens
I purchased a d80 recently and took about 2,000 shots at an outdoor music festival virtually 90% of them came out with poor image quality, i was shooting in "fine" mode and alternated my settings primarily from portrait, auto, P, settings- example i was taking a picture of a trombone player wearing a white shirt and black pants, when you look at the black, it looks like scatter multicolored pixels, like an image taken with a 2 megapixel camera from 500ft away and then enlarged. Focusing Problems I just bought the Canon 20d. I shot a wedding with it two weeks ago, and really liked how it performed in low light. However, I noticed a lot of my photos from the low lit reception came back out of focus. (The outdoor ceremony shots were fine). I noticed 3 issues with the images: 1-The main subject, which often was dead center and took up 1/2 to 2/3 of the frame, was often NOT in focus. Rather, the camera selected some point way off to one side or off in the distance som

When I press the clicker ( button to take the shot ) it takes like 1 second before the shot is captured, is there a way to speed it up ? I take a lot of pics of bands playing, and I'm all ready & focused in, and there goes the singer with some kina gesture to the crowd ( or guitrarist ) I snap, before the snapper goes off the gesture is gone. :(
You say in your description that you're "focused in". That means that you've pressed the shutter button half-way and allowed the camera to lock in the focus (it will beep). You need to maintain that half-press until the moment you want to snap the pi ... Digital Cameras
Casio ex-z750. I have a problem with the zoom on this camera. You can zoom in, but when zooming out it activates the 'Best Shot' scene selection. If you press the zoom button again the scene selection dissapears, then the third push allows you to zoom out. I have 'reset' the camera to standard settings but htis did not help. Everything else works fine. Hopefuly you can suggest something. Thanks

All indoor pictures look grainy or blurry. There are a lot of noise in my photos, and it really seems to have difficulty capturing moving people as the intelligent auto often chooses the night portrait scene for indoor people shots. In the manual it recommends using a tripod and having the subject stand still. I am trying to photograph active toddlers (18 months and 3 years old). I have found switching to sports helps sometimes. Intermittent problem The camera works fine for awhile then the 4-way selector suddenly will not change the menu. Or it gets stuck on full flash or no flash. The selections may get mixed up. Recently, my Canon Powershot A95 has had an intermittent LCD display problem. While beginning to frame and focus a shot, the image streaks from edge to edge of the screen. If the shutter is snapped, that is the image recorded. The image looks like the subject is rapidly moving, or as though it is a time-lapse photo. Could this be a CCD (chip)issue?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free worldwide, and may also include free shipping both ways (free shipping varies with countries). This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. ... Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera

Got our Lumix DMC-FZ5 in 2006, and every picture we have ever taken inside is blurred, no matter what we do with shutter speed, aperature setting and flash. Also tried using the Party scene, as well as the Simple mode. Outdoor shots (in good light) are great.

I have a rebel xt 350D , using 75-300mm 5.6f lens to do some girls basketball photography inside a gym. Had camera set on: ISO 1600, M mode, 5.6f, 200 shutter speed (that seem to set automatically), used built in flash, Exposure level was in the middle of the chart, auto focus, al servo, continuous shooting, used awb. Got pretty good freeze action shots, with little or no blurring but the photos were dark. Some I could make lighter with photoshop but lost some detail and the contrast was too muc
