It should be no problem. Just take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for.
You will need to use a USB flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're very inexpensive these days. If this is new to you, then please see this other article for additional info.
\015\012The reason this occurred is that you likely never formatted the card. The card will work fine in the beginning but eventually will corrupt. AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in your camera to prevent this from happening again (dig out that instruction manual to figure out how). Keep in mind formatting will also totally erase your card, so again only do this after you've recovered the photos.

I took about 30 photos over five days. Everything worked until the last day, when I could only see the last 3 photos I took the last day. All the others have disappeared. I checked my card on my computer when I got home, but same results. I did do some re-organizing of features during that time, but I never deleted anything. If you are taking the pictures onto a memory card I would suggest replacing the memory card. Camera had beer spilled over it. Not much but enough to stop it working.
