Having problems with your Canon Digital Cameras ?
I've got an EOS 30D and when I shoot RAW images along with regular ones I can't find the RAW images. Are they somehow embedded in the other images? I run Windows on a PC and download the images direct from the card. The perplexing thing is that once or twice they have come up as separate files when I downloaded the files to my computer.

I typically use Canon's DPP software to download from the camera, so I've not lost an image. I may have to take some test shots using your method to see what happens. I run Vista, so we'll see.

I have a FinePix 1400 zoom that has been causing a lot of problems. It has errors often when trying to write an image to the card and sometimes seems to suddenly power off when viewing images. It doesn't appear to be batteries because I've tried fresh ones straight out of the package. I don't think it's the Smart Media card because it does the same thing with 3 different cards of different sizes. Any ideas?
