Mitsubishi Carisma GDI handbrake adjustment

\015 I have used up all the cable slack by adjusting the linkage at the handbrake lever base. Is there another adjusting point or do I have to adjust the rear pistons out? Please note the model is a Carisma GDI 1.8cc (2002), NOT an Eclipse!\015

Answers :

Always adjust at the wheels first and the cable last.
You need to back off your handbrake cable fully, jack up the back of your car ( use axle stands ) .
There should be rubber bungs on your backplates near where the brake pipes enter the wheelcylinders. remove the bungs ( one at a time ) and look inside with a torch you will see what looks like a toothed gear. The gear can be turned using a flat bladed screwdriver ,it will turn easily one way and resist turning the other. Turn the gear the easy direction periodically turning the road wheel to see if the brakes are binding. Keep going until you feel resistance from the road wheel ( don't make it too tight ) Replace the bung.
Repeat for the other wheel.
Now it is time to adjust the cables.
Happy handbraking.

Photos from my Coolpix LS always appear extremely blue. When I use Photoshop to edit them I have to adjust the color balance on every shot. Sometime the "Auto Adjust" tool is enought. When it is not I move the Yellow/Blue adjustment all to about -85. I move the Majenta/Green adjustment to about -45 and I move the Cyan/Red adjustment to about +15. Is there something wrong with my CCD or is there a software fix for this problem?
