Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. But can anything be done to correct the blurry pictures taken in this situation?? Any software known to correct this problem? Thank's, Angela Sapp

Monitor unlit I'm using my colleges D40 for my digital photo class. The camera was set by a prior student. I'm trying to find on the camera where the "Auto- Off Timers" is. I'm thinking the camera was set so the monitor is always off avoiding extra use of the battery. It has to be something simple and getting used to moving around the camera program. Thanks

The best thing to do would be to press the 2 green dots together to do a master reset on the camera. 1st green dot would be just beside the shutter and the other would be on the left of the lcd. press and hold them both for about 10 secs ... Nikon D40 Digital Camera with G-II 18-55mm Lens

We have a new custom build PC from Data Doctors for personal use with Vista 7 and have a Samsung SyncMaster 191t monitor that was previously used for gaming and had a DVI cable. We bought a VGA cable but the Samsung monitor just says Check Signal Cable. We also tried using a VGA to DVI adapter, but that didn't work either. The monitor didn't even say check the signal cable then; only the green monitor light kept flashing. Is there a setting inside the SyncMaster 191t that would be previously set

W1 Sharpening I am new to the Sony W1 and I have read somewhere that the camera should be set to the P mode and the sharpening to the ( - ) minus and it would yeild the best results. I've never heard this philosophy applied to the W1. i usually hear about this associated with the 828 and higher end cameras. the (-) setting is usually used to reduce the amount of noise that the image will have straight from the cam.\015\012\015\01 ... Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W1 Digital Camera

Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,

If you set your meter based on the white (or substantially white) wall, as per the attachment, I would expect the image to be underexposed. ... Canon EOS-1D Mark II Digital Camera

Fresh batteries will only last for about 15 min of staggered use. I use it to take pictures of jewelry and with setting up the pieces then trying 4 different settings for each piece...they dont come out well and then the camera is drained. I have a rebel xt 350D , using 75-300mm 5.6f lens to do some girls basketball photography inside a gym. Unless you were up close and personal, the built-in flash was your problem. Anything past about 15 feet and your picture will be dark. You would have been better off turning the flash off and using available light. Once the flash is off, you can set ... Digital Cameras

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.

Small white circles usually means dust on the lens.  Remove the dust with a blowerbrush - not a tissue.\012You are asking for a "1 size fits all" solution for your settings, and indoor and outdoor use really means different settings.   ...
