Answers :

If you can get hold of it, the card can be pulled out - the button just helps. When you have done this, get a torch and have a look at the pins - you may find some are bent in which case you are in trouble.

Green light on camera back to the right of the 'delete' button continually flashes on-off about 1 second intervals as soon as battery is inserted as long as CF card is in place. Switching camera ON produces no visible operational indicators. Depressing "Menu" button flashes: hour glass; menu display; blank screen. Holding button down just cycles as above. Swapped lens, data card, battery, connected EH-5 power source; nothing makes any difference. Checked same lens in another D70 camera; it's OK.

I would start by looking into the memory card slot to see if you have a bent pin. You may need a small light and a magnifying glass to see them. If the pins are okay, then you can try a reset by holding down the BKT and metering buttons toget ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens

Hi all, I have an Olympus FE-300 camera. We have had a battery issue ever since we first got it about 2 years ago. Most of the time, when we first hit the power button, the camera doesn't power up. I then pop the battery open and pop it back in and it seems to work. Then after closing it again, it seems to malfunction again. Sometimes it shows a freshly charged battery in the "red". I have bought a replacement battery, but it seems to be same exact result. This is so frustrating, I have f

Everything seems to be working but the shutter release button. It does nothing, even depressing the button halfway for metering shows nothing. no indicators in viewfinder info line.
