Having problems with your Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera ?

I have a Caonon 40D. I thought I was having a lens problem at first. However after using 2 other lenses I have found out it is my Camera. No matter how clear and crisp the image is in the view finder. After the photo is taken and loaded into PS4. The image is blurry and unsharp. I have reset all camera settings to factory with Canon. And I am still getting the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Answers :

It is probably due to dust on the sensor, or sensor alignment not properly done. In both cases you have to take the camera to a Canon dealer for servicing.

Blurry images I purchased about a year ago a new Panasonic DMC-TZ4. And up until this point, I was in love with this camera. However, just recently, sometimes when I turn the camera on, the screen is showing images to be out of focus and blurry. All the settings are correct. Some times it stays like this for hours. Other times, I can turn the camera off and then back on and the blurriness goes away. Twice the camera has frozen and I had to take the battery out. And some times when I turn the cam

Lens problem Hi. I have an Olympus FE-190 digital camera. not sure what happened, but now there is a problem with the lens. when i turn on the camera, the lens extends, retracts, several times (trying to find "home" I think). Image on the display screen is blurry. it WILL take a very blurry picture. there is a faint 'ratcheting" sound when the lens is fully extended. is there a way to 're-set" or calibrate the lens extension setting or focus? thanks very much for your assistance.

Lcd blurred I have a canon power shot a80 and when i turn it on and try to take a picture, on the LCD display i see a mixture of colour which is not even letting me see the image of the picture i would like to take. If i look through the lens and take the image, i am still able to view the picture I had taken if i set the camera on the view pictures. The mixture of colours on the LCD only shows when the camera is set on take the picture... and it doesn't even do it always. Thanks.

Blury images Re: Sony Cyber-shot 6mp (DSC-H2) Our outdoor images are beautiful but nearly all of our indoor images are blury/shaky making the camera unusable. I own a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. This camera is unpredictable; i.e., I never know when it will decide not to record an image. I have reset it many times to the manufacturer's default settings, and then it SOMETIMES works, but then for some reason stops recording images. I have started to always carry a second camera (a point & shoot). However I am enrolled in a number of photography classes in the new year where I need an SLR. Is this camera issue serious or something I can fix? Thanks.

Hi all, I wonder if you can supply some advice regarding a Sigma17-35mm lens I purchased earlier in the year. Basically if I use the automatic or 'P' setting on my Canon EOS 30D camera the image is over exposed by 1 to 2 stops. If I use the same functions with my Canon 18 -55 kit lens the exposure is correct so I would presume the camera is not causing the problem. The only way I can get a correct exposure with the Sigma lens is to compensate manually for each shot. Please note the exposure p

Canon Powershot A610 digital camera--LCD screen shows icons, but otherwise is blank--there is no visible movement in the lens when I take a picture without flash--have tried setting it on TV setting and taking a picture, then opening the battery cover for a few seconds after waiting 7 seconds or so, but no images on the LCD except the camera's icons--ideas? probably a stuck shutter, or is it still possibly the CCD sensor even though there's no visible movement in the lens?
