Having problems with your Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera with 17-85mm lens ?

All my photos are slightly out of focus-no matter what setting i'm on.

One possibility that you can correct:
\015\012The eyepiece (viewfiender) diopter is out of adjustment for your eyesight.
\015\012Look at the viewfinder and locate the "slider".
\015\012Now look through the eyepiece (viewfinder) while in auto-focus mode.
\015\012Adjust the slider, left or right, until the image looks sharp to you.
\015\012If you wear corrective glasses, you can adjust the diopter whether you use your glasses or not.
\015\012
\015\012This solution assumes that you are shooting in auto-focus; however, this also works in manual mode.

With camera on the AUTO setting, I can't seem to take clear, focused photos. Nearly all of them are out of focus or blurry. Does not matter if it is in the day time or at night. Also, when using the ZOOM function the photos are mostly out of focus. What can I try to take clear photos again? Thank you.

The focal length on my Nikon S52 Coolpix seems to be much shorter than it was originally. No matter the adjustment I make to the settings, at least part of the photo is extremely blurry. I have tried both with Auto-Focus on and off, but there is always a small square in the center of the view finder, and this is only region that shows a focused image. The camera used to produce sharp images throughout the picture. How can I adjust this?

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?

Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera

Blurred edges My Canon Rebel XTi took awesome photos when I first bought it. I let a family member use it and I think the settings must have been changed or something, because now all my photos are blurred on the edges, esp. on the left side of the photo. I always use AF and the blurring occurs no matter what ISO I use. Also, my action shots used to be crisp and clear with no blurring whatsoever. Now they are blurred, doesn't matter if it's night or daylight and no matter what ISO. Is there

I was taking photos over the weekend with my Olympus E-500 and the eyepiece viewfinder got darker than usual. I was using a promaster 5750DX flash.
