Battery/Power trouble My C-770 is 2 years old and I still have the original L1-10B batterys that came with it. The camera goes through periods of non-use so has not been used excessively. When I put in a newly charged battery the battery indicator says the battery is full, but then take one picture and the light blinks empty and usually dies with the lens out and the ISO numbers still on the screen. I switch the power button into the off position but it generally takes a min before it actuall

Hello, I have a Kodak easy share z1275 and has worked well for me for almost 3 years. Used it last week with no problems, has never given me any problems. Suddenly on Saturday, I turn it on to take a picture, lens begins to retract and the camera shuts off, it appears that there is a power supply probelm. I changed batteries, even though the ones I had in it were recently installed, but went ahead and put in new ones, and it will not power on. The blue power indicator light begins to come on

Power/lens Problems I'm having some power/lens problems with my camera. When I turn on the power in either the picture or video mode, the green light will turn on for a split second then turn off. The lens does not come out at all. However, when I try to turn it on with the picture viewer or in the menu it works just fine. When I start with the picture viewer and then switch to the camera it turns off. Thus it seems that whenever I want to take a picture or a movie the camera doesn't work.

This camera was working fine, was turned off, and then a day later wouldn't work. The LCD screen on back works only if the Mode Switch is in the review mode (or DOWN), and does not light up under the picture taking mode (or UP) position. Also, while the switch is in the UP position, the ON/OFF power indicator button no longer stays lit. It does, however, stay lit in the Mode Switch in the DOWN position. First problem in three years. After power on, green light comes on. On opening the touch pad viewer orange charge light comes on and whole camera shuts down leaving orange light lit. The only way to turn off the orange light is to remove battery. Since the battery is showing more than 90 mins remaining..I doubted it ay be battery but on changing battery with new one problem exists. I think it may be to do with the connection of touch pad viewer at hinge location. If i flip open fast the touch pad viewer stays on...then on

I bought a power adapter for the camera, but it doesn't seem to work without batteries in the unit. I just purchased a Power Shot sx200is. I will be taking pictures this evening where most of the subjects are African American. They will be getting awards and the person giving the awards is Irish American and very light skinned. This will take place in a room that is well lit with florescent lighting.
