Batteries "depleted" my camera was working perfect with some rechargeable NiMh batteries i had bought, giving me about 400 shots / charge. However at one point, for no apparent reason, when i used them, they would be shown as 'depleted' by the camera after about 4-5 shots, shutting the camera down. It stayed like this so I decided to buy a set of new NiMh batteries, i bought panasonic brand. We have a Canon Power Shot A570 IS, purchased October 30, 2007. We have purchased new AA-size NiMH batteries for it but the problem remains. Whenever you turn it on it shows "Batteries Low" and shuts itself off. You might be able to take 1 or 2 pictures before the batteries low light comes on. I understand that lithium batteries will not work in this camera. Please advise. Thanks, Eileen

Hi, I have a Canon 20D and a Sppedlite 550EX (I use for almost every shot). My problem is that 80-90% of my photos always return back from the printers too dark. I know this sounds like a printing issue, however I have tried 4 different printers and still have the same problem. I have tried up'ing my exposure both on my camera and flash, but this just overexposes parts of the photo too much. My histogram also looks relatively correct on these shots. I appreciate that photos will be taken too dar

This is a mind bender, While doing a shoot using monolights connected to a Nikon D1x I encountered exposure problems. After the lights were metered for the best exposure, I started shooting. The first ten or so shots were fine, and all of a sudden the next ten shots looked like they were 8 stops over, and then it went to looking ok. The first thing I did was switch monolights thinking there was a problem with the flash, this did not resolve the issue. Next I switched camera bodies, still the int

I recently purchased the D80 and had no problems, it worked great and took magnificant shots. However, the other day I turned it on and the viewfinder was now, dark and out of focus. The battery was fully charged and the diopter adjustment failed to fix the problem. Of note, it still takes clear, sharp, in-focus shots, it's just that the view in the viewfinde

Focus problems I have 2 digital cameras already so I know to hold the button down 1/2 way for focusing. The Nikon is new. I HATE manuals. I am having trouble focusing on close up shots. They are either real blurry or slightly out of focus. It seems the shutter speed is so slow that any movement of my hand ruins the shot. I can take a shot of something, a plant for instance, pulled in fairly close. One shot may be ok and the next one is blurry

There are two likely reasons for the blurry pictures. One possibility is, as you surmised, a slow shutter speed. Try mounting the camera on a tripod or other stable support. You might also try turning on the flash. The other reason is focu ... Digital Cameras

I just lpurchased a Canon 5D MarkII. Originally the LSD showed single photos when I reviewed past shots. Then it changed to showing four shots and now it changed to nine shots. I have a problem with my sony cyber-shot dsc T-3. Everything is all right except that there is probably a problem with the lense as the image (on the screen when I want to take a photo or film) is not right (it is pink, dark with lines on it).
